Collars are used in the fire service and rescue sector to identify officials (e.g. operations managers, press officers, etc.) at the scene of an incident. They are put on and worn over protective clothing (fire service jacket).

The conventional collars may be provided with Velcro fasteners (hook fasteners) on the back for better adhesion to the back fabric and straps for fastening under the armpits.

However, they cannot be sufficiently fixed to the overjacket at the front, so they can slip when the wearer moves.

The invention mentioned in the protection claim is based on the problem that conventional collars can slip when worn due to the lack of a fixation option at the front.

At the front ends of the collar, on the left side of the collar, as seen from the wearer, there is a piece of Velcro (hook tape) (position 1 (A)) and on the inside in the same place there is a Velcro (loop tape) (position 2 (B)). On the right front collar side there is a Velcro strap (loop strap) (position 1 (G)) for attaching a name tag or similar.

On the left front side of the collar there is a tab (position 1 (H)) for holding the radio antenna of a radio device, L-shaped lamp or similar and a strap with Velcro fastener (position 1 (I)) for fixing radio antennas, cables or similar.

Collar (neck collar) for identifying functionaries to be worn over fire brigade overjackets, characterized in that the Velcro fastening on both sides of the collar at the front ends enables it to be attached to the front continuous Velcro fastener of a fire brigade overjacket.
