Salzen und Hollen insbesondere für Stranggußanlagen, Strangverformungsanlagen, sowie für mit niedriger Walzgeschwindigkeit betriebene WarmwalzwerkeSalts and lumps, especially for continuous casting plants, Strand forming plants, as well as for low rolling speed operated hot rolling mills
The invention relates to rollers and rollers especially for continuous casting plants, strand forming plants, as well as for hot rolling mills operated at low rolling speed.
Rolls and rolls in continuous casting and strand forming plants are used both for deformation and for Supporting, drawing out, bending and straightening of cast strands are used. They are exposed to special stresses. As a rule, the advance or lowering speed is of cast strands in continuous casting or strand forming plants between about 0.6 and 1.5 m / min * of the same order of magnitude the infeed speed of the rolling stock is in a planetary rolling mill, which is preceded by infeed rollers. For comparison, it should be pointed out that the rolling stock in conventional hot rolling mills includes the rolling stands at a speed between about 30 and 600 m / min.
Rollen und Walzen in Strangguß- oder Strangverformungsanlagen sowie in einem einem Planetenwalzwerk vorgeschalteten Einschubgerüst sind also mit dem Walzgut bzw· mit dem Strang, dessen Oberflächentemperatur zwischenRolls and rolls in continuous casting or strand forming plants as well as in a push-in stand upstream of a planetary rolling mill are therefore with the rolling stock or with the strand whose surface temperature is between

They are locally strongly overheated during operation and by the necessary Cooling is heavily stressed due to temperature changes. There are therefore in addition to an insensitivity to such rollers and balls against the occurrence of hoisting and fractures due to thermal stresses also the requirement for sufficient Strength with the lowest possible notch sensitivity as well as sufficient wear resistance.
So far, for the production of driving and Hichtrolle and rollers for the. Strand deformation steels with about 0.4 to 0.7 % C, 0.5 to 1.6 fa Cr, 0.20 to 0.90 % Mo and up to 0.40 % V are used. Rolls with this directional analysis are well suited as hot rolling, but have not proven to be satisfactory for use in continuous casting »or strand forming plants; When used in such systems, severe fire cracks on the surface and breaks, especially continuous breaks through the ball of the rolls, were found very quickly. The cause is the aforementioned different type of stress on rollers or rollers, which was not eliminated by intensive cooling, but on the contrary was even made worse. Rollers with a high carbon content are sensitive to rapid heating and temperature changes.
The invention aims to avoid the disadvantages and difficulties described and has in particular The aim is to create rolls and balls that are used in continuous casting and strand forming plants as well as in those operated with low salt speeds Hot rolling mills have a high durability and service life, a high resistance to bending stress, a have great wear resistance and high insensitivity to hitting.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by that the bale of the rollers or rollers from a variety is formed by segments arranged side by side with play, which segments have spring-like extensions, which engage in correspondingly designed guide grooves provided on the roller or roller core.
The side surfaces of the segments are favorably slightly inclined to each other so that enhance the game columns Alze against the periphery of W T to slightly conical.
Insbesondere sind die federartigen Fortsätze schwalbenschwanzförmig ausgebildet. In particular, the spring-like extensions are dovetail-shaped.
The grooves can be on the circumferential surface of the Walzenbzw. Roller core parallel to the roller or roller axis arranged side by side and the individual rows of segments by connecting means, see B. Screws held together be, with a roller or roller core encompassing Retaining ring is provided for fixing the segments; however, it is also possible to use the grooves on the circumferential surface of the roller or roller core to be arranged side by side in the circumferential direction and at least one further transversely to it to provide a recess extending over the entire length of the ball, through which the individual segments can be inserted laterally into the grooves and into which recess after the Mounting a retaining bar for fixing the segments can be inserted '.
