Abstract

The Bowden cable drive for a motor vehicle window has a sheath with a contoured outer surface formed by outwardly extending ribs which damp the operating noise of the cable in the sheath. The ribs (15) define multiple cavities (H) within the rib casings (11,12) to allow support on a vehicle assembly. The ribs can extend radially of the Bowden cable sheath.

Claims (14)

1. Bowdenzuganordnung für eine Verstelleinrichtung eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit
  • - einer längserstreckten Bowdenhülle und
  • - einer die Bowdenhülle umgreifenden, entlang der Bowdenhülle erstreckten Schutzeinrichtung, die bezüglich der Bowdenhülle nach außen abstehende Erhebungen aufweist, über die die Schutzeinrichtung geräuschdämpfend mit einer Kraftfahrzeugbaugruppe in Kontakt treten kann,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass sich die Erhebungen (15, 25) auf ihrer der Bowdenhülle (B) zugewandten Stirnseite über eine Mehrzahl Hohlräume (H) begrenzende Stützabschnitte (11, 12; 21) an einer Baugruppe (10, B) der Bowdenzuganordnung abstützen.
