Abstract

The bed is assembled of an adjustable frame (1) and four vertical columns (4) adjustable in height and fitted with swivel mounted wheels (5) at their lower ends. In order to facilitate an easy moving the materials used are not as strong as the ones used for the original hospital bed, resulting in the danger for the frame (1) to be damaged in particular when the bed is moved repeatedly across shallow obstacles integrated in the floor. The new design of this kind of bed (3) is provided with stabilizing bars (6), which can be arranged in various suitable ways between frame (1) and columns (4) in order to support the construction.

Claims (10)

Pflegebett mit einem Grundrahmen (1), an dessen Kopfende ein Kopfrahmen (2) und an dessen Fußende ein Fußrahmen (3) befestigt sind, sowie mit vertikal verstellbaren Radsäulen (4), an deren freien Enden jeweils ein Rad (5) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der untere Endbereich der Radsäulen (4) jeweils mittels Streben (6) zusätzlich abge­ stützt ist.1.
