Das bedruckte Papierband wird unterhalb der Rolle 38 und oberhalb der Rolle 43 aufwärts nach der Formhülse geführt. Die Rolle 38 sitzt hierbei drehbar auf dem Querzapfen eines Schlitzarmes'39, der drehbar und stellbar an eine auf der Welle 41 durch Stellschraube 42 gesicherte Muffe 40 angeschlossen ist. Der Schwingarm bzw. die Rolle 38 vermag also während des Bedrückens, d.h., wenn das Papierband seitens der Druckplatte fest gegen die Unterseite des Tisches gepreßt und festgehalten wird, nachzugeben und sichert somit einen ununterbrochenen gleichförmigen Durchgang des Papierbandes durch die Formhülse d analog dem entsprechend gleichförmig zugeführten Tabakstrang".
