Abstract

A method for fitting moulded grips onto the sides of a spanner handle has holes in the sides of the handle and pressfit grip studs under the moulded grips for a simple fitting without any separate fasteners. The grip tags can be shaped to grip into a void milled into the handle or they can have corresponding grip shapes to clip into each other. The two side mouldings can be linked by a flexible centre piece to form a single plastic moulding.

Claims (3)
