Abstract

The air duct (12) and the ventilation grille (14) are situated under the flat top of the dashboard (11) near the windscreen (10). The airbag module (16) is situated adjacent to the air duct, on the side adjacent to the passenger. Claims (14)

1. Instrumententafel für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit wenigstens einem Lüftungsaustritt und einem daran angeschlossenen, hinter der Instrumententafel angeordneten Lüftungskanal und mit einem hinter der Instrumententafel gehalterten Airbagmodul, in dessen Gehäuse ein Gasgenerator und ein eingefalteter Gassack angeordnet sind, wobei in der Instrumententafel eine durch eine bei Auslösung des Airbagmoduls öffenbare Abdeckung verschlossene Austrittsöffnung für den sich entfaltenden Gassack vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Airbagmodul (16) dem Lüftungskanal (12) benachbart derart angeordnet ist, daß sich der Gassack (18) bei Auslösung des Airbagmoduls (16) in den Lüftungskanal (12) und von hier aus durch den Lüftungsaustritt (13, 14) aus der Instrumententafel (11) heraus entfaltet, wobei der in der Instrumententafel (11) angeordnete Lüftungsaustritt (13, 14) durch den Druck des sich entfaltenden Gassacks (18) wegbewegt wird.1.
