Abstract

The drop safety device for elevating platforms and suchlike comprises a double-acting fluid cylinder (10) with a piston (20) and piston rod (22), and a safety check valve (24) installed inside the piston and acts as a flow connection between the opposed effective areas (32,34) of the piston. The flow connection is completed by a through-bore (30) in the piston and in which is installed the safety check valve. The value of the fluid flow by which the safety check valve closes is adjustable.

Claims (7)

1. Absturzsicherung für Hubtische, Hebebühnen und dergleichen, mit einem doppeltwirkenden Fluidzylinder (10) mit Fluidkammern (26, 28) beiderseits eines Kolbens (20), einer von dem Kolben (20) ausgehenden Kolbenstange (22), die mit einem von zwei beim Hubvorgang gegeneinander beweglichen Teilen des Hubti­ sches oder dergleichen verbunden ist, während der Fluidzylinder (10) mit dem anderen Teil verbunden ist, wobei zwischen den Fluidkammern (26, 28) eine Strömungsverbindung (30) besteht, welche Strömungsverbindung (30) ein Siche­ rungsventil (40) umfaßt, das in beiden Richtungen durchlässig ist, beim Senk­ vorgang jedoch bei Überschreiten eines vorbestimmten Fluidstroms mechanisch schließt oder drosselt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Sicherungsventil (24) innerhalb des Kolbens (20) angeordnet ist und die Strömungsverbindung zwi­ schen den gegenüberliegenden Wirkungsflächen (32, 34) des Kolbens (20) be­ steht.1.
