Abstract

The ball tap comprises a housing with a throughflow channel and inlet and outlet apertures, together with a cut-off ball (50) rotatable between cut-off and through passage positions. The ball has a through passage, which forms part of the throughflow channel when the ball is in the through passage position. An operating device for the cut-off ball is provided, with at least one dead space for fluid between the housing and the cut-off ball. At least one channel connects the dead space with the throughflow channel or the through passage and has at least two opposing channels (55), of which one ends in a cross groove (54) of the cut-off ball working in conjunction with an operating shaft.

Claims (6)

1. Kugelhahn,
mit einem einen Durchströmkanal (13, 23) aufweisenden Gehäuse (10, 20), das mit einer Ein- und einer Auslassöffnung (14, 24) verse­ hen ist, die den Durchströmkanal (13, 23) begrenzen,
mit einer in dem Gehäuse (10, 20) angeordneten, zwischen einer Absperr- und einer Durchlassstellung in dem Gehäuse verdrehbaren Absperrkugel (50), welche einen Durchlass (53) aufweist, der in der Durchlassstellung der Absperrkugel (50) einen Teil des Durchström­ kanals bildet,
mit einem Betätigungsmittel (30) für die Absperrkugel (50) und
mit mindestens einem Totraum (90) für das Fluid zwischen dem Ge­ häuse (10, 20) und der Absperrkugel (50),
gekennzeichnet durch mindestens einen Kanal, der den Totraum (90) mit dem Durchströmkanal (13, 23) oder dem Durchlass (53) ver­ bindet und aus zwei einzelnen, sich gegenüberliegenden Kanälen (55, 56) besteht, von denen ein Kanal (55) in einer, mit einer Betäti­ gungswelle (70) zusammenwirkenden Quernut (54) der Absperrku­ gel endet (Fig. 5).
