Abstract

An adjuster for aligning window and door frames in openings in buildings has a spacer (7) comprising a cylindrical sleeve threaded inside and outside and onto which is threaded an adjuster comprising a thrust disc (5). The spacer has a widened head which fits without rotation into a recess in the outside of the window/door frame. The frame has holes (15, 19) which align with the inside of the sleeve enabling the operator to drill the masonry fitting hole and to fit a masonry fastener (14) through the frame and sleeve. The thrust disc has a knurled outer rim which can be gripped with fingers to adjust the alignment.

Claims (5)

1. Justiervorrichtung (4) für ein in eine Gebäudeöffnung (2) einsetzbares Ein­ bauteil (6), z. B. ein Fenster- oder Türrahmen, die zur Abstützung in der Ge­ bäudeöffnung (2) am Einbauteil (6) anbringbar ist und ein Mutterteil (5) und ein mit diesem durch gegenseitige Verdrehung zusammenwirkenden Bol­ zenteil (7) enthält, von welchen Teilen das unverdrehbare Teil (7) am Ein­ bauteil (6) befestigbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Bolzenteil (7) eine auf ein Durchgangsloch (15, 21) im Einbauteil (6) ausrichtbare axiale Bohrung (16) zur Aufnahme eines das Einbauteil (6) und die Justiervor­ richtung (4) durchsetzendes, das Einbauteil (6) an der Gebäudeöffnung (2) befestigbares Stiftelement (14) aufweist.1. adjusting device ( 4 ) for a in a building opening ( 2 ) insertable a component ( 6 ), for.
