Die Maschine ist am Tisch A angebracht. Ein Trittbrett B ^xist durch Zapfen mit der Zugstange α verbunden; letztere treibt mit der Kurbel b die in den Hängelagern C C gelagerte Welle c, welche an ihrem äufseren Ende das Schwungrad D trägt. Auf der Welle c befinden sich zwei verschiedene Mechanismen; der eine besteht aus dem Excenter d, dessen Zugstange e mit der einen Seite eines Schiebers / drehbar verbunden ist. Dieser Schieber f wird bei jeder Drehung des Excenters auf der Gleitschiene g hin- und herbewegt. An der anderen Seite des Schiebers ist eine Zugstange h angebracht, welche beim Hin- und Hergehen des Schiebers f auf einen Zapfen i wirkt. Der Zapfen i bewegt sich in einem Schlitz k der Tischplatte, wirkt an seinem oberen Ende auf den am Hohlcylinder / angebrachten Hebel m und bewirkt eine Drehung des Hohlcylinders /. Am oberen Ende des drehbaren Hohlcylinders / befindet sich eine Gabel, in welcher der um den Zapfen f drehbare Hebel t gelagert ist. Am freien Ende des Hebels t ist der Stempel angebracht, welcher so angeordnet ist, dafs er leicht abgenommen und durch einen anderen ersetzt oder dessen Buchstaben und Zeichen ausgewechselt werden können, t³ ist eine Feder, welche sich an ihrem einen Ende in einem Schlitz des einen Gabelarmes des Hohlcylinders 7 bewegt und am entgegengesetzten Ende mit dem auf dem Hebel t sitzenden verschiebbaren Reiter t"¹ verbunden ist. Durch Bewegen des Reiters /² kann die Kraft der Feder t^% regulirt werden. Der Hebel e¹ hat durch einen der Mitnehmer h^x die Bewegung mitgemacht, wobei die Feder e^% über die Verzahnung des Rades e^z gegangen ist, ohne das Sperrrad mitzunehmen und ohne eine Drehung des Farbkissens zu verursachen.
