Description

The invention relates to a tennis racket according to the preamble of claim 1, a grip tape, which can be part of such a tennis racket, according to claim 5 and a set which has at least one bracelet according to claim 7.

Each tennis racket has a base body which has a frame and a handle that is at least indirectly connected to the frame. An intermediate section (which is usually V-shaped) often extends between the handle and the frame. The frame carries the covering of the tennis racket. The handle of the base body is usually wrapped with a grip tape having an outer surface, which is usually changed from time to time.

According to current training methods, it is usually taught to play a two-handed backhand and often also a two-handed forehand. This applies particularly, although not exclusively, to beginner training, especially for children. The learner must ensure that the grip position is always the same, that is, that one hand (usually the “strong” hand, for right-handers the right hand and for left-handers the left hand) (in the Hold the handle (usually wrapped with grip tape) near the end of the handle facing away from the frame and the other hand grips the handle between the strong hand and the frame. Surprisingly, it has been found that learning this grip position is sometimes more difficult for beginners, so it often happens that the hands are placed “the wrong way around” on the grip, meaning that the strong hand is closer to the frame than the weak hand . This then leads to unsatisfactory game results.

Based on this, the present invention sets itself the task of providing a learning aid that makes it easier for the learner to avoid this mistake.

This object is achieved by a tennis racket with the features of claim 1, by a grip tape for arrangement on a handle of a base body of a tennis racket according to claim 5 and by a set with the features of claim 7.

It has been shown that a visual, especially a color, identification makes it easier for the learner to always use the correct grip position (strong hand at the back, weak hand at the front). According to the invention, the tennis racket therefore has a specially designed grip tape and/or at least one optical identifier arranged on the base body, in particular in the form of a sticker. The provision of both - grip tape and optical identification - is generally preferred.

The outer surface of the grip tape - if provided - has a front surface section close to the frame and a rear surface section away from the frame, the front surface section differing from the rear surface section in terms of color and / or pattern.

If both such a grip tape and at least one optical identifier, in particular in the form of at least one sticker, are provided, it is preferred that the optical appearance of the front surface section of the grip tape corresponds to the optical appearance of the optical identifier.

A grip tape, which is intended for arrangement on such a tennis racket, therefore has a first surface which has two surface sections, namely a first surface section which is adjacent to a first end of the grip tape and a second surface section which is adjacent to the second end of the grip tape is, so that when arranged on the tennis racket the first surface section forms the front surface section and the second surface section forms the rear surface section, or vice versa. The two surface sections accordingly have a different pattern and/or a different color.

In order to further improve the learning effect, the learner should wear a bracelet on the wrist of his weak hand, the optical appearance of which corresponds to the optical appearance of the front surface section of the grip tape and/or the optical appearance of the optical identifier (the sticker).
