Technical area

The present invention relates to a stackable building block which is designed as a drinking vessel. The invention further relates to a kit with a large number of such stackable building blocks.

State of the art

Drinking vessels are used to pour into these drinks to enable easy consumption of drinks. The shape of the drinking vessels is usually based on the suitability of the drinking vessels for everyday use. The drinking vessels have a flat bottom and enclose the largest possible volume with as little material as possible. This creates the typical drinking glass shape, which is at least essentially cylindrical or goblet-shaped.

However, there are also drinking vessels that deviate from this norm and therefore have a more eye-catching and memorable visual appearance. This means that the drinking vessels can have unusual shapes.

However, these unusual forms often come with practical limitations. For example, the drinking vessels are difficult to clean and awkward to store.

Presentation of the invention

The present invention presents an innovative approach to address these challenges.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a drinking vessel which eliminates the above-mentioned problems and disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, it is the object of the present invention to provide a drinking vessel that has an attractive design and at the same time provides a particularly high level of functionality as a drinking vessel. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a kit with corresponding drinking vessels.

These tasks are solved by the subject matter of the independent claims. Further possible embodiments of the invention are specified in particular in the dependent claims.

The solution according to the invention consists in particular in specifying a stackable building block. The stackable building block has at least one projection and at least one recess. The at least one projection and the at least one recess are complementary in size and shape in such a way that the at least one projection can be inserted into the at least one recess. According to the invention, the stackable building block is designed as a drinking vessel.

The projection is preferably at least essentially cylindrical. In principle, however, the projection could have a different shape, for example a cuboid shape.

The stackable building block itself can preferably have a cuboid shape or a cube shape. The at least one projection is then an element that protrudes from the cuboid shape. Accordingly, the recess is a recess, i.e. material recess, in the cuboid shape or cube shape.

The projection, together with the recess, ensures that the building block can be stacked. Due to their complementary design, the projections and recesses are designed in such a way that a projection of a first building block forms a positive connection together with a projection of a second building block. This allows the blocks to be connected to one another. This means that a first building block can be plugged onto a second building block.

The building block according to the invention provides a drinking vessel which has a particularly attractive design due to its appearance as a stackable building block. By being designed as a building block, the drinking vessel also fulfills another function, since the stackable building block can be used as a normal building element. This increases the user's application options. For example, at parties, picnics or other events, the stackable building blocks according to the invention can be used simultaneously as transportable drinking vessels and for creative constructions and games. The stackable building blocks can also be used in a variety of ways in the catering sector.

The stackable building block therefore offers increased versatility and functionality.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the stackable building block has a closable volume for receiving and holding liquids.

This allows liquids to be transported safely without spilling. This is particularly advantageous if the stackable building block is used as a drinking vessel for alcoholic beverages, which become too large when leaking prone to sticky and odorous stains. The lockable volume also means that the liquid is stored in the stackable building block in a way that it can be stored and transported.

In an advantageous development of the invention, the closable volume has a size of 2 cl.

The closable volume therefore has a specific volume size. This specific volume size makes it possible for precisely defined amounts of liquids to be filled into the stackable building block. This is particularly useful when precise dosage of drinks is required. For example, it is common to serve spirits in bars or restaurants in a 2cl size. This makes the stackable building block particularly suitable as a liquid container for spirits.

Of course, it would also be conceivable for the specific volume size to have a size other than 2 cl, for example 4 cl. Significantly larger building blocks would also be conceivable, with a specific volume of 100 ml or more.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the closable volume is formed, in particular completely, within the at least one projection. If the closable volume is completely formed in the at least one projection, this means that the volume does not extend beyond the projection.

Since the closable volume is formed within the projection, it is particularly easy to drink from the stackable building block without the risk of liquid spilling. In general, the closable volume has an opening through which liquid can be brought into and out of the volume.

If the closable volume is also completely formed in the at least one projection, it can be cleaned particularly well. This applies in particular if the at least one projection is cylindrical and the closable volume is also cylindrical. A volume arranged in the projection can also be closed particularly easily.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the stackable building block is designed in such a way that the closable volume can be closed by means of a preferably screwable lid.

The lid is part of the stackable building block. For example, the cover has an internal thread and the stackable module, in particular the projection thereof, has a corresponding external thread. In principle, however, the cover can also be clipped on or connected using a bayonet lock.

By closing the volume with a lid, the volume can be reliably sealed. To further improve the seal, a sealing body, for example a sealing disk, can preferably be arranged in the cover.

The lid can be tightened extra tightly to prevent liquid leakage during transport and storage. The lid also increases the shelf life of the liquid stored in the stackable building block. The lid, together with the volume, serves to protect the liquid and separate it from the environment.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the stackable building block is made from a food-safe plastic material.

This means that the stackable building block can be safely used in conjunction with food. The stackable building block is therefore suitable for contact with food and does not release any substances into the food.

In particular, the stackable building block is made of an alcohol-resistant, food-safe plastic material. This can also be used to transport alcoholic liquids.

By being made from plastic, the stackable building block can generally be made particularly robust and light. This makes the stackable building block particularly durable.

In an advantageous development of the invention, the at least one projection is arranged on the top and the at least one recess on the underside of the stackable building block.

The top is arranged opposite the bottom. This makes the stackable building blocks flexible and easy to stack. Overall, this arrangement enables stable and safe stacking of the building blocks on top of each other. If several projections and recesses are formed, then all projections are preferably arranged on the top and all recesses on the bottom.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the underside of the stackable building block is designed to be closed apart from the at least one recess.

In other words, the underside does not have any other recess, indentation or the like. The underside is at least essentially a flat surface.

This allows the underside to stand stably on a surface. In addition, the flat underside is particularly easy to clean. This contributes to the hygiene and easy washability of the stackable building blocks. There are also no smaller volumes in which dirt and the like can get stuck.

Particularly preferably, the stackable building block has, apart from the projections and the recesses, completely closed, in particular flat, sides.

This further increases the ease of washing.

Regardless of this, the stackable building block can be at least essentially cuboid or cube-shaped.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the stackable building block has exactly two projections and two recesses.

This design makes the building block particularly visually appealing. This also makes it possible to stack two building blocks on top of each other in such a way that they are secured against rotation. This arrangement also allows the building blocks to be combined and stacked with one another in a variety of ways. This allows different structures or shapes to be created.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, exactly one of the two projections has the lockable volume. Although several projections can be formed, it is therefore preferred that only one lockable volume is assigned to each module.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, an outer contour of the lid corresponds to an outer contour of the projection, which does not have a lockable volume.

The lid can be placed on the lockable volume to securely close the volume and the building block can then be stacked. This makes it possible to stack them with the lid closed.

Since the outer contour of the lid corresponds to the outer contour of the projection, which has no closable volume, a particularly attractive appearance of the stackable building block can also be achieved, since the two projections then look at least essentially the same.

Furthermore, the task is solved using a kit. The kit has a large number of the aforementioned stackable building blocks. At least one projection of a first stackable building block can be inserted into the at least one recess of a second stackable building block.

The kit consists of a variety of stackable building blocks that can be connected to each other. This opens up numerous possibilities for building and constructing. The building blocks can be easily inserted into one another and provide a stable connection that makes it possible to create different structures and shapes. This allows users to express their creativity and adapt and expand structures and shapes as they wish.

Since the stackable building blocks used in the kit are the building blocks already described above, all of the individual advantages and aspects of the stackable building blocks can be transferred here.

In an advantageous development of the invention, the projections and recesses are designed to form a positive connection between the stackable building blocks.

In other words, the projections and recesses of the building blocks are designed so that together they form a positive connection. The building blocks can therefore be connected to one another in a stable manner. This makes the structures stable and prevents them from accidentally falling apart. The constructions made of stackable building blocks can be easily disassembled and reassembled.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, the kit has stackable building blocks with different colors or designs.

This opens up creative and decorative design options. The variety of different stackable building blocks makes it possible to create creative and aesthetically pleasing constructions.
