Abstract

Desk attachment for a table (1) which has a lockable body (2) with an upper and lower shell (4, 5) and from which at least one worktop (3) can be pulled out when the upper shell (4) is opened.

Description

The invention relates to a lockable desk top.

It is the object of the invention to propose a desk attachment that can be set up on a table, the worktop of which can be locked in a body and pulled out of it and work materials can remain on the worktop.

The object is achieved with the means of claim 1.

Developments of the desk are presented in the dependent claims.

The desk top according to the invention is intended to be placed on a table. It has a lockable body with an upper and lower shell, from which at least one worktop can be pulled out when the upper shell is opened.

The desk attachment is advantageously designed as a portable case that can be placed on different tables in a mobile manner. It can also be placed on a very high table to work while standing.

In another embodiment, fixed legs are mounted on the desk top. This means that it can also be used as stationary furniture.

In 1 the closed desk top is shown on table 1. The body 2 consists of the lower shell 5 and the upper shell 4, which is divided into a front part 4a and a rear part 4b. The two parts of the upper shell 4 are folded together at the front edge 6 and the rear edge 7 via the hinges 10 and thus close the body 2. In the lower shell 5, a drawer 9 is also used. Legs 14 can also be fixedly mounted to the desk top.

In 2 the completely unfolded body 2 is shown on the table 1. The rear part 4b and the front part 4a are held by the hinges 10 on the front edge 6 and the rear edge 7 of the lower shell 5 and are supported on this. The side walls 8 are attached to the inner sides of the lower shell 5 and contain two guide grooves 11a and 11b, which are provided for two worktops 3.

3 shows the open desk top on the table 1. The front part 4a of the upper shell is opened. The side panels 8 are attached to the inside of the lower shell 5 . The individual worktop 3 is pulled out of guide grooves 11 of the side panels 8 . The rear part 4b of the upper shell is still closed. Objects on this part of the upper shell can remain here and possibly also pick up objects from the front part 4a of the upper shell. The opened upper shell 4a can also serve as a storage area 13 under the worktop 3. Of course, this also applies the other way around for the upper shell 4b.

4 shows the completely unfolded body 2 in a plan view. The two unfolded parts 4a and 4b of the upper shell are connected to the lower shell via the hinges 10 . The worktop 3 is guided between the side walls 8 and is pulled out over the front part 4a. The worktop 3 can be used for paperwork. Under the worktop 3 is a drawer 9, shown here partially in phantom.

In the 5 . to 7 a desk is shown which contains the two worktops 3a and 3b and under which two roll containers 12 can be placed. The body 2 stands with its lower shell 5 on the table 1 and the upper shell is divided in the middle into the two parts 4a and 4b.

In 5 the upper shell parts 4a and 4b are closed via the hinges 10 and the roll containers 12 are parked under the lower shell 5 to save space.

According to 6 the upper shell parts 4a and 4b are unfolded. Above them are the first worktop 3a and the second worktop 3b, which together form a double-sized work surface. The worktops 3a and 3b are guided in the upper groove of the side walls 8. In this drawing is the worktop 3a is not fully inserted.

The upper worktop 3a can be pulled out halfway after opening the body. The lower worktop 3b is pulled out completely and then also pushed into the upper guide groove 11a up to the middle so that the two worktops 3a and 3b form a closed worktop.

The surfaces of the top and bottom of the worktops 3a and 3b can be designed differently, for example as a wood veneer surface or as a linoleum surface. By turning the worktops 3a and 3b and sliding them into the guide groove 11a and/or 11b, different surfaces can be used as worktops.

The roll containers 12 are now set up on the side of the table 1. This creates 1 legroom under the table for working at the desk.

In 7 is a section through a side panel 8 with the two worktops 3a and 3b. The worktops 3a and 3b are held in the guide grooves 11a and 11b.
