Abstract

Errichtung von Pumpspeicherkraftwerken in Industrielandschaften oder Industriebrachen z.B. in Braunkohletagebauen
und nicht wie bisher an dafür ausgesuchten natürlichen Bergen oder Hügeln mit genügendem Höhenunterschied. Die Idee schließt die Errichtung von Pumpspeicherkraftwerken auf Halden/ Kippen ausdrücklich mit ein.
Wie viel einfacher ist es da, die schon vorhandenen Höhenunterschiede (100-450m) vor Ort, in die in Zukunft stillgelegten Braunkohlereviere zum Bau von Pumpspeicher kraftwerken zu nutzen.
Es bieten sich zudem noch die durch Aushub aufgetürmten Halden/ Kippen an, deren Höhenunterschiede ebenfalls beachtlich sind.

Danach sammelt man das Wasser wieder in einem gleich großen Unterbecken (5) in der Talanlage.

  • NordLink bringt den Strom der Windgeneratoren über eine 600km lange (HGÜ) Hochspannungsgleichstromübertragungsfernleitung durch die Nordsee nach Norwegen. Dort werden in den Bergen die Höhenunterschiede zum Betreiben von Pumpspeicherkraftwerken genutzt. Wird in Deutschland Strom benötigt, so wird der Strom wieder auf diese 600km lange Reise geschickt.

  • Zur Speicherung des überschüssigen Stromes, wird das Wasser in umgekehrter Reihenfolge von unten (5) nach oben (4) gepumpt (6).
