In particular, such once burning electric cars should remain in the extinguishing container for up to 48 hours, so that it can be reliably ruled out that parts of the electric car may not flare up again due to the chemical reactions in its drive batteries and possibly start to burn. In some cases, the "after-burning time" of such drive batteries can be up to 14 days.

Underlying task

The invention has for its object to provide an extinguishing container device by means of which it is possible for fire departments to extinguish electric cars in a particularly simple, inexpensive and at the same time effective manner.

Solution according to the invention

This object is achieved according to the invention with an extinguishing container device having an extinguishing container for receiving a burning electric car and extinguishing the electric car in the extinguishing container, the extinguishing container having a floor area for parking the burning electric car and the extinguishing container being set up for this purpose to be parked on a standing surface, and with a transport vehicle which has a transport surface for placing the extinguishing container thereon, the extinguishing container being provided with a lifting device by means of which on the one hand its floor surface is raised above the transport surface and on the other hand its floor surface is lowered to the standing surface is.

In an advantageous development of the invention, an extinguishing container device is further developed such that the lifting device is set up to lift the floor area largely parallel to the standing area. The fire-fighting container can then also be lifted off the transport surface of the transport vehicle again by means of the lifting device, so that it can be moved out from under the fire-fighting container. Then, using the lifting device, the extinguishing container can be parked largely at ground level on an underlying stand area. The extinguishing container is preferably based on a conventional, open-top transport container as used on trucks and also on ocean-going ships. Such “open top containers” have a front wall and two side walls, which are usually stationary. Furthermore, they have two hinged doors or a flap on the back, which can be swung away to the side or downwards. Due to this then open back, a burning electric car can be placed in the completely lowered fire container according to the invention. The extinguishing container preferably has a height of over 2 meters, in particular 2.5 meters. It is particularly preferably a standard container with a height of 2.59 meters or 20 feet. In this way, even comparatively tall vehicles can be deleted. The extinguishing container is then optionally lifted from its base by means of the lifting device, thus creating a heat-shielding distance between the bottom surface of the container and the base. The extinguishing container is then flooded with an extinguishing fluid, in particular extinguishing water. In this flooded condition, the extinguishing container remains for the necessary amount of time until the burning electric car, including its batteries, is safely completely extinguished. The extinguishing container advantageously has an empty weight of less than 2000 to 2200 kg and the transport vehicle has an empty weight of less than 1300 to 1500 kg, so that a total weight of a maximum of 3500 kg results. The result is a complete vehicle that can also be transported with "smaller" towing vehicles and with only "smaller" driver's license classes. A transport vehicle is particularly preferred which has a transport surface for placing the extinguishing container thereon, the lifting device being set up so that the transport vehicle is to be driven under the extinguishing container when the extinguishing container is raised. The transport vehicle is also advantageously designed as a trailer that can be coupled to and decoupled from a towing vehicle. For this purpose, a car coupling ball or a truck coupling mouth is preferably provided on the trailer as the coupling device. The transport vehicle according to the invention is preferably also provided with a quick coupling for the stationary coupling and uncoupling of the extinguishing container on the transport vehicle.

Finally, it is advantageously provided in the extinguishing container device according to the invention that a pulling device for pulling the burning electric car into the extinguishing container and / or a draining device for draining extinguishing water from the extinguishing container is provided on the extinguishing container. The pulling device is preferably designed as an electrical and / or manually operated winch.

With the solution according to the invention and its developments, an extinguishing container device is created with which extinguishing burning electric cars is possible in a very simple manner and even on a temperature-critical surface and at the same time also the associated transport vehicle as a kind of multifunctional device both for transporting the extinguishing container and can also be used for other transport tasks. Thus, with the fire container to be raised and lowered according to the invention and the associated transport vehicle, a functional unit is created which can be handled very easily, in particular if the transport vehicle is designed as a trailer. Such a trailer can easily be attached to existing fire engines and carried by them during a fire-fighting mission. In addition, such a trailer can also be used for other transport tasks, such as for transporting different types of fire-fighting equipment. A trailer can also be used in combination with several extinguishing containers, so that in particular one extinguishing container can be filled with an immersion bath while another extinguishing container is being used.
