Description

The present invention relates to a mobile shield for plugging onto a table top, comprising a wall element and a stabilizing element.

Various situations, such as times when there is an increased risk of infection from pathogens, examination situations in schools and universities, or a need for rest in office rooms make it necessary to isolate school and workplaces from time to time. Since the space situation is often already predetermined by the furniture, for example by two-seater tables in schools or larger desks with several workplaces in office space, it makes sense to retrofit existing spaces and separate them from one another.

The publication DE 20 2014 002 547 U1 describes a mobile privacy shield for installation on a base with a stand having a receiving groove and with a shield which can be attached by clamping in the receiving groove. To ensure stability, the stand must be designed as a solid support block. Lateral tilting of the device can hardly be prevented by the stand.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a mobile shield which ensures high stability with a small space requirement on a surface.

This object is achieved on the one hand by a mobile shield for plugging onto a table top, having a wall element and a stabilizing element, whereby according to the invention the wall element has a slit-shaped first cutout by means of which the wall element can be pushed onto a table top and a slit-shaped second cutout into which the stabilizing element can be inserted, in such a way that in a set-up state of the mobile shielding, the wall element is oriented perpendicular to the table top and the stabilizing element both perpendicular to the wall element and perpendicular to the table top.

Additional supports, for example to or against the floor, are not required. Likewise, no attachments that invasively intervene in the table substance are required.

In particular, the wall element has a first area, which is positioned above the table top in the set-up state of the mobile shield and a second area, which is positioned below the table top in the set-up state of the mobile shield, the first area having a substantially rectangular shape .

The corners of the wall element are preferably rounded in order to prevent the risk of injury.

The first area preferably extends at a height of at least 600 mm above the table top.

The second area is preferably shorter than the first area, so that the second, lower area extends less deeply along the table top than the first, upper area. In addition to the cost-effective production, it is also ecologically advantageous when using recycled paper and guarantees both lightness and stability. If the stabilizing element is arranged below the table top, the space required for the mobile shielding on the work surface is advantageously reduced.
