Description

A conventional food bowl is placed on the floor, which means that the dog has to lower its head to reach the food. This leads to an uncomfortable posture, especially with large dogs. Lowering the head is often not enough here; the animal then also has to lower the body to get to the food.

The inner shape of the food bowl is usually too deep and the sides are only slightly inclined, which makes it difficult to take the food.

In order to be able to ingest food, the animal has to press its snout into the food and food can get into the animal's nose. When eating, the food bowl slips away easily. Due to its shape, the dog hits the inner edge of the food bowl with its nose when eating.

In order to also grasp the food in the lower edge area, the animal has to turn its head to the right and left, whereby the nose again and again comes into contact with the food or hits the edge. In addition, the food slips easily into the front area of the bowl when eating and thus out of the dog's field of vision.

Relaxed, comfortable eating is not possible.

The invention thus aims to provide an improved device for feeding dogs.

To achieve this object, a device for adjusting the height of the food bowl to be provided is provided according to claim 1, this being designed as a special food trough.

According to a preferred embodiment, this device is only two-part and has a base substructure (a), which can be selected at a suitable height depending on the size of the respective animal / dog ( 1 , 2 ) or, according to a further embodiment, a base substructure (a ') which can be set at different heights and combined with the feed trough (b) and can be locked.
