Audio devices of conventional design offer the possibility of transmitting music or other audio signals via one or more loudspeaker membranes in the form of sound waves over the air. The object of the invention is to provide a device with which music or other audio signals can be perceived acoustically and at the same time tactilely.

The object is achieved according to the invention by a wooden sound plate with the features of the protection claim 1 .

The wood sound plate according to the invention has a wood plate and a structure-borne sound transducer arranged on the wood plate, the structure-borne sound transducer being connected to means for providing an electrical audio signal, the means being arranged on the wood plate on the same side of the wood plate as the structure-borne sound transducer and having a wireless energy supply.

The means for providing an electrical audio signal provide the electrical audio signal for the structure-borne sound transducer.
