Die erfindungsgemäße Bildhalterung besteht aus einem Grundelement [1], auf dem das Bild steht und durch mehrere Haltestäbe [3] / [4], die auf dem Grundelement [1] in Bohrungen [2] oder Nuten [3] sitzen, in seiner Position fixiert wird.

Die Haltepunkte [5] bilden Verdickungen auf den Stielen [4]. Die Befestigung der Stiele [4] auf dem Grundelement [1] erfolgt so, daß eine ausreichende Zahl von Haltepunkten [5] dicht an der Oberfläche der Vorder- und der Rückseite des Bildes [7] / [8] anliegen, so daß dieses stabil auf dem Grundelement [1] steht.
Für einen sicheren Halt sind mindestens auf einer Seite 3 und auf der anderen Seite 2 Kontakte mit Haltepunkten [5] im ausreichenden Abstand voneinander erforderlich.
Weitere Haltestäbe [3] / [4] können beliebig zur Erhöhung der Stabilität und zur Gestaltung in die Bohrungen [2] bzw. Nuten [3] eingesetzt werden.
1 und 2 zeigen eine Variante, bei der auf der Vorder- und der Rückseite eine Doppelreihe von Bohrungen [2] viel Spielraum zur Gestaltung bieten. Eine mittig angeordnete zusätzliche Nut [3] ermöglicht bereits bei zwei die Oberfläche des Bildes [7] / [8] berührenden Haltestäben [3] / [4] eine sichere Fixierung des Bildes [7] / [8].

Die 5 und 6 illustrieren eine der in den 3 und 4 entsprechende Variante, jedoch ausschließlich mit einem Haltepunkt [5] auf jedem Stiel [4]. Hier sind mindestens auf einer Seite 3 Haltestäbe [3] / [4] und auf der Anderen zwei erforderlich.
Die Ausführung gemäß der 7 und 8 entspricht der der 5 und 6, jedoch mit einer zusätzlichen Nut, in der der untere Rand des Bildes [7] / [8] weiteren Halt findet.
Werden die Stiele [4] gemäß der 9 und 10 leicht geneigt in das Grundelement [1] gesetzt, können Haltepunkte [5], in diesem Fall Kugeln, verschiedener Größen verwendet werden, die auf den Stielen [4] verschieblich sitzen und das Bild [7] / [8] beim Herunterdrücken der Kugeln mit den gegenüberliegenden Haltestäben [3] / [4] verkeilen.
