This type of bicycle rack is available in various designs, e.g. for thin tires, for thick tires. For every type of bike, the customer needs different bike stands because different tires and different tire size.

Disadvantage for the customer is also that when changing the tires from 2.3 inches to 2.6 inches you need another bike stand because the thicker tire no longer fits in the too narrow bike stand.

The bike stands in these bike racks provided the right size is found to be better and more stable than on a side stand, however, neither of these two racks are designed to sit on the bike to adjust settings such as those on the bike.
