Bei der Fahrt kann z. B. der Reifen bei Schlaglöchern im gefrorenen Innenkotflügel aufsetzten, zusätzlich wird der Lenkradius erheblich beeinträchtigt. Hier kann es zu einer gefährlichen Beeinträchtigung für den Fahrer und anderer Verkehrsteilnehmer im Straßenverkehr kommen.
