Description
The invention relates to a labyrinth membrane drainage of flexible materials with perforations for the dissipation of wound secretions and fluids from cavities and wounds. This flat drainage is suitable for various forms of wound treatment, but especially for the vacuum treatment of large and deep wounds.
It is a common task in medicine to suck off wound fluids, especially in deep, large and especially of infected surface wounds the hitherto common practice to insert into the wound a wound dressing that does not grow with the tissue. On this wound dressing, the physician brings a first layer of gauze, in which then by hand a drainage tube, partially wound several times, is applied and this covered again with a second layer of gauze and then the entire wound site is covered with a plaster. The end of the drainage tube is then subjected to a negative pressure, whereby the wound fluid can be sucked off. In addition to the long time required for laying the above described means time, this approach also requires a considerable skill of the wound care practitioner, because during wound care all separately inserted device components are to be fixed, which often can not be accomplished by one person alone.
B. in
The present invention has for its object to provide a drainage agent, which fits without great manual skill by the surgeon accurately to the wound in question, especially a large deep wound, which is provided for vacuum wound treatment, no elaborate fixations in the laying in the wound area and in particular allows easy sealing in the context of a vacuum wound treatment. At the same time, the flat drainage according to the invention is intended to bring about a more effective drainage effect than is possible with drainages known from the prior art. In particular, the proposed flat drainage should also allow an improved and more tolerable for the patient vacuum wound treatment of large open wounds and ensure a significantly increased comfort.

The present invention includes the use of polar plastic films with a labyrinth, which is connected in the survey tips cohesively or releasably. The elevations are formed by perforations that form a ridge when inserted. The advantage of the invention is that the cohesive bonding layer has an antibacterial effect and that polar plastic films can be used. Another advantage is that a deposit between the surveys by z. B. adhesive can be introduced, which in turn has effects such as suction, antibacterial influence of the secretion, secretion of wound healing agents.
The object of the invention is solved by the characterizing features of
