For environmental reasons, there is a general tendency to fabricate packaging elements of this type from a paper or paper composite material. The object of the invention is to develop a packaging element of the type mentioned so that even with the use of paper or paper composite material easy irrigation is possible, especially from below via a water bath in the packaged plants / flowers are set.
