Description
The invention relates to central drinking water supply systems for small and large plants with several user units, where in order to comply with the required minimum hygienic reasons drinking water temperature of 55 ° C to 60 ° C in the hot water pipe and to limit the maximum cold water temperature of a maximum of 25 ° C in the cold water pipe measures required are. These include facilities in hotel rooms, apartments, senior housing, hospital rooms in buildings and on ships.
The hot water pipe systems are provided with additional circulation pipe systems for reasons of temperature presence and for hygienic reasons. The cold water pipe systems are arranged parallel to the hot water system, but without a circulation system.
The distribution of cold water is usually done by single piping to a tree system with individual branches. There are also cold water loops performed, but so far without circulation pump.
The required for hygienic reasons Drinking water temperature of less than 25 ° C at each point in the cold water distribution system is sought after the latest building codes by the installation of pipe insulation around the parallel to the hot water lines in conjunction with minimum distances between the pipes, but not reached safely. However, if the drinking water requirement falls, adherence to the temperature limit of 25 ° C depends on the stagnation period and is no longer reliably achieved, especially at the holiday time of individual users. As a result of the cold water stagnation and the increased ambient temperature of the hot water pipes, the cold water temperature rises to more than 25 ° C and thus the risk of colonization of the cold water system with Legionella. For this reason, users of centralized water distribution systems are advised to use heavy flushing of the pipeline after a prolonged absence.
Stand der Technik:State of the art:
In one- and two-family houses so-called drinking water heat pumps with 300 liters of drinking water storage volume are common for drinking water heating, where the waste heat from indoor air is used for heating DHW via an evaporator for hot water preparation. The temperature increase for a drinking water circulating circuit to more than 50 ° C to 60 ° C is made with decreasing annual working number of the heat pump, or even an electric immersion heater. The economical use of several drinking water heat pumps fails, for example, in multi-family houses at the permissible drinking water storage volume of 400 liters in connection with the temperature increase necessary for large plants to 60 ° C.
The previously known systems for limiting the Legionellenproblematik in cold tap water systems are based in addition to the recently prescribed thermal insulation for these lines in the proposal to pass the cold water pipe at all existing tapping points of an object on so-called wall plates and as a ring line and little-used taps. The associated enlargement of the drinking water-contacting pipe surfaces and the associated risk of hygienic problems as a result of the increase in temperature in the cold water system are accepted here. For the parallel existing hot water system of the same design, it even increases the circulation heat losses up to three times the normal.
- • For systems with heat pumps.
- In systems with heat pumps for heating and water heating, these increased circulation heat losses in the hot water system are even partially covered, or entirely by means of electric heating cartridges or by means of electrical pipe trace heating, that is over expensive primary energy. There are measurements showing that in a multi-family house with a heat pump, the annual electricity costs for the electric afterheating from 50 ° C to 60 ° C in the water heater are twice as high as in normal systems.
- • Avoiding additional energy and water costs, such as in forced flush systems.
- For buildings such as hospitals and similar stagnation prevention and the forced flushing of the hot and cold water system is proposed when the cold water temperature of 25 ° C and below the hot water temperature of 60 ° C and installed and operated in the form of computer-controlled forced flushing systems at high cost. The task "cost and energy saving" is extended for such plants to the demand for water savings.
- • New conditions in objects with high drinking water heat demand and low heat demand.
- Due to the increasing thermal insulation of buildings, the heating demand drops, the drinking water heat demand remains the same, or even increases due to the, for hygienic reasons required hot water temperatures. For low-energy houses, the drinking water heat demand is now just as large as the heat demand for heating. Therefore, for economic reasons, all options for saving energy and water in the central drinking water supply must be used. These include, above all, the recovery of heat from the warm wastewater, exhaust air, exhaust gases and the redesignation of the standby heat losses.
- • Suitability for alternative energy of PV systems, heat pumps, thermal solar energy and heat recovery:
- New systems for drinking water supply should be particularly suitable in addition to the economy and the hygienic requirements for Stagnationvermeidung, increase the water exchange for condensing boilers, in district heating and the use of alternative energy, heat pumps, heating plants, PV systems and thermal solar energy.
- However, the fulfillment of the aforementioned tasks and requirements must be carried out at low cost, with low primary energy requirements and without disadvantages for drinking water hygiene.
Problemlösung für Warmwasser:Problem solving for hot water:
As a solution to the problem of energy conservation, legionella safety, stagnation prevention and increase the exchange of water in the hot water distribution network centralized DHW heating with hot water distribution system with loop and circulation pump is proposed for small plants and large facilities, if this is possible with new plants or in the event of renovation. Existing systems with hot water circulation system must continue to be operated according to the Drinking Water Ordinance at hot water temperatures above 60 ° C. For this reason, heat pumps can now be operated in households with the refrigerant R134a or CO2 even at 60 ° C drinking water temperature.
Problemlösung für Kaltwasser:Problem solution for cold water:
As a solution to the problems of legionella safety, to prevent stagnation and to increase the exchange of water in the cold water distribution network, the central drinking water supply is proposed for all systems a cold water distribution system with a ring line and a circulation pump not usual there. In existing cold water distribution systems with risers, however, to avoid stagnation, the cold water circulation pump and the upper connecting pipe are still missing to a loop. When Legionella occur in existing systems, they should be retrofitted with the described connection piping and a cold water circulation pump to solve all stagnation problems.
Problemlösung für Warm- und Kaltwasser in Neu- und Altanlagen:Problem solution for hot and cold water in new and old plants:
Stagnation avoidance, increasing water exchange and compliance with all hygienic requirements at the lowest possible cost and energy requirements for the users of the central water supply are the tasks and goals, which meets with the new device for drinking water supply with heat pump for the combined cooling of cold water and warming of hot water should be. This includes the installation of a previously not customary, but commercially available speed-controlled circulation pump in a cold water ring line. As a solution to the problem of energy saving and compliance with all hygienic requirements, a device for drinking water supply for cold and hot water with heat pump and loop lines is proposed. The minimum required for hygienic reasons for hot water of> 60 ° C and the maximum allowable temperature for cold water of <25 ° C is the new device for Drinking water supply with heat pump achieved, the evaporator in the cold water system and its condenser is arranged in the hot water system, with circulation pumps are provided to stagnation prevention in both systems. The heat pump can reach an annual work rate over 4 under the present favorable temperature conditions.
Neue vorteilhafte Mehrwege Wärmeüberträger als Verdampfer und als Kondensator.New advantageous multi-way heat exchanger as evaporator and as a condenser.
In order to achieve the power required to cover the circulation heat losses at the condenser of the heat pump, it is necessary that the evaporator except the circuit for the cold water system with other circuits, for example, from a wastewater heat recovery circuit as possible simultaneously and countercurrent to the refrigerant circuit in the evaporator is supplied. For this purpose, it is advantageous to heat conductively connect these paths with common heat-conducting fins. An additional advantage arises when these ribs are also exposed to air or exhaust air. In this way, the safety separation of refrigerant and drinking water is achieved, the ribs serve both as heating surfaces for the air, as well as for heat transfer between the paths. The Voreile that the refrigerant circuit of the heat pump to the condenser and the circuit for the hot water system along with other circuits, for example a Heizwasserkreislauf, side by side parallel in countercurrent to the refrigerant circuit in the condenser, and are heat-conductively connected to common heat-conducting fins, can both with fins Block heat exchangers are achieved, as well as, for example, with aluminum extrusions. In this case, at least one heat-conducting rib runs as a connection between the paths parallel to the longitudinal axis, just like other outer ribs and the easily molded during extrusion inner ribs. Multi-way heat exchangers made of extruded profiles can also be helically wound in, or arranged around a memory, wherein the evaporator can be acted upon in this arrangement as a silent evaporator or a fan with air or exhaust air. With the proposed embodiment and arrangement of multi-way heat exchangers, the safety-related media separation of refrigerant and drinking water is given for the condenser and the evaporator of the heat pump wherein the ribs serve both as heating surfaces for the surrounding medium, as well as heat transfer between the paths.
Material consumption, cost and energy requirements are at a minimum for the proposed device. The achievable benefit of the device is the fulfillment of all requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance, such as stagnation prevention, hygiene, temperature presence and compliance with the limit temperatures for cold and hot water. It is thus achieved with minimal effort a maximum benefit.
