Description
The present invention relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical antifungal nail polish, nail polish base and / or nail hardener,
which are characterized
that they according to the invention consists of a biological nail varnish or nail shave based on shellac and alcohol and antimycotic substances such as the essential oils tea tree oil, manuka oil, thyme oil, clove oil, mint oils, etc. or chemical agents such as amorolfine (loceryl). The antimycotic substances can be both alcohol-soluble and water-soluble. A neutral to acidic ph value is advantageous because of the stability of the paint. By adding alkalis such as potassium hydroxide, the paint can be made water-soluble, which would be conceivable for some therapeutic purposes.
The present invention is suitable both for the treatment of nail mycoses and for prophylaxis.
The total amount of essential oils, shellac, solvent and active ingredient is at least 40% (by weight). In small amounts of up to 1.6%, other vegetable oils (moisturizers), up to 15% vegetable essential oils (also for therapeutic purposes) and up to 20% aqueous substances (with active ingredients and / or gelling agents such as xanthan gum, Guar, tragacanth, cellulose, etc.). For a better gloss and thickening, benzoin resin, myrrh resin or a substitute can be used. The proportion of shellac varies between 3 and 35% by weight.
For a formulation with a water content of up to 20% by weight, the shellac content should not exceed 15%.
For a natural formulation, the shellac can be combined with nitrocellulose or other lacquer formers.
- – antimykotischer Nagellack
- – antimykotischer Nagelhärter
- – antimykotische Nagellasur (neutral oder mit Farbe)
- – antimykotischer Nagelschutz (zur Prophylaxe) herstellen.
- - antifungal nail polish
- - Antifungal nail hardener
- - antifungal nail shave (neutral or with color)
- - manufacture antimycotic nail protection (for prophylaxis).
The difference lies in the concentration and the ratio of the raw materials used.

- - Nail varnishes contain a variety of harmful, allergenic, sensitizing and environmentally harmful raw materials such as: xylene, toluene, benzenes, ketones, PAHs, phthalates, acetates, formaldehyde, etc.
- - Occasionally, benzene resin, shellac, ethanol or other natural substances are used in very small proportions in conventional nail varnishes. However, these are used exclusively in conjunction with the aforementioned harmful substances and are less used to improve properties (gloss, drying, hardness and adhesion), but mainly serve the so-called green-washing.

Another disadvantage of conventional nail polishes is that they can only be removed with conventional nail polish removal, which has the same problem.
- - For anhydrous formulations gloss and / or thickening can be achieved only with chemical substances or with other natural substances, but which extend the drying time, have a poor surface drying, have an unpleasant odor or can lead to an unsightly paint surface (orange peel effect) or whitings.
- In the case of water-containing formulations, the viscosity can be increased by gelling agents such as xanthan, guar, tragacanth, cellulose, etc.
In general, the coatings have a shellac content of about 20% to 30% by weight and the hardener 15% by weight. For formulations below 20% by weight, thickening with water-based gelling agents can also be achieved.
The invention specified in claim meets the desire of consumers, dermatologists, allergists, etc. for a natural nail polish without harmful substances and with manageable and long-known good and safe raw materials.
The advantages achieved by the invention are that, despite dispensing with the above-mentioned conventional raw materials with the described combination of raw materials, a product can be produced which satisfies the requirements "fast drying time, gloss, hardness and resistance" to a sufficient extent and beyond has a long lasting "pleasant smell" due to the microencapsulation of the shellac. Another advantage is that on the one hand this nail polish can already be removed with 70% ethyl alcohol instead of conventional chemical nail polish removers and on the other hand it is "self-removing". This means that it will disappear by itself from the 4th day until the 7th day at the latest without leaving ugly edges behind.
The use of the invention as nail polish or nail hardener depends on the concentration of the alcohol-shellac mixture.
As mentioned above, the invention can also be used as the basis for colored nail polishes.
For this purpose, it is possible to add to the water phase (if present) water-soluble dyes or mineral powdery dyes in the finished product.
Die Rezepturen und die Herstellung der ProdukteThe recipes and the production of the products
The type of shellac concentration and the ratio to the other ingredients depends on the purpose and the requirements of the end product.
Accordingly, the following recipe examples can only give a rough overview. The type of shellac used, the combination with the ethyl alcohol, the other substances (especially in the context of aromatherapy or other special purposes) may vary.
