Description

The invention relates to a stackable bottle according to the preamble of claim 1.

The stackability of bottles can be useful on the one hand because of aesthetic aspects, on the other hand, but also for practical considerations.

It is known from the prior art by a variety of publications to make bottles stackable by their shape. A frequently recurring approach to shaping are plug connections between the bottles through the outer shaping, which brings about the secure hold of the bottles on one another. For this purpose are mentioned by way of example the document WO2001 / 020128 A1 in that bottles with a quadrangular cross-section have on two of their sides projections which engage in corresponding receptacles in two lateral surfaces of adjacent bottles, so that these bottles can be stacked in parallel alignment with one another.

A similar solution discloses the document US 5,133,469 in which a hexagonal bottle cross-section is disclosed, which has on a side surface via a projection on the opposite side surface via a corresponding recess, whereby the bottles can also be placed secured in parallel alignment with each other.

The publication EP 2 096 040 A1 more generally describes a stackable container, where the stackability is to be used for a good transport. The bottles can thus be stacked on top of each other in as narrow a package as possible in order to achieve a good utilization of the volume of space during transport. The DE 299 97 258 U1 discloses a bottle model that in its basic form corresponds to a traditional bottle, but which has a recess extending in the longitudinal direction of the bottle recess formed in its cross-section adapted to the outer curve of the bottle shape.
