In der Regel ist dabei hinter die Umspannungseinrichtung eine ebenfalls an dem Trägerrahmen angebrachte Ladeeinrichtung geschaltet, mittels derer eine an den Akkumulator angelegte Ladespannung während eines Ladevorgangs variierbar ist, um die Dauer eines Ladevorgangs zu minimieren.
