Description

Hibiscus sabdariffa bildet einen Blütenkelch, der zur Samenreife hin fleischig wird. Dieser Blütenkelch wird für die Zubereitung des erfindungsgemäßen Getränk verwendet. Die Blütenkelche werden hierfür entweder frisch verwendet oder als getrocknete Ware. Die Blütenkelche werden zunächst gewaschen und anschließend in Wasser gegeben. Hier kann entweder ein kalter Auszug erfolgen oder alternativ können die Blütenkelche im Wasser ausgekocht werden.
