Abstract
Description
Bei üblichen nicht abgedeckten Schornsteinmündungen kann Regenwasser eindringen, das zur Schädigung des Schornsteins führen kann. beitragen, die sich aber nachteilig auf den Schornsteinzug auswirken.
Um sowohl den Witterungsschutz wie einen gleich bleibenden, eher
einen verbesserten Schornsteinzug zu erzielen, wurde gefunden, dass
eine Abdeckung, die sowohl nach oben als auch nach unten gewölbt ist, ähnlich wie
bei einem Diskus, den Anforderungen eines wirkungsvollen Schornsteinaufsatzes
genügt:
Durch die Aufwölbung
nach oben kann der Regen abgeleitet werden. Durch die zusätzliche
Wölbung
nach unten wird der Strömungsquerschnitt
des Querwindes verringert und der Unterdruck erhöht, woraus sich eine Zugverbesserung
ergibt. In den Konstruktionen, die in Bild 1 und Bild 2 dargestellt
sind, ist die Aufwölbung
nach oben und unten realisiert. In Bild 1 ist eine rechteckige,
