Der Deutlichkeit halber sind die Polsterungen und Schlußbänder nicht eingezeichnet. Der Geradehalter setzt sich im wesentlichen aus zwei Hauptteilen zusammen. Dieselben bestehen aus einem das Becken zwischen Beckenkamm und großem Rollhügel umfassenden federnden Gürtel α aus Stahl o. dgl. Metall und einem den Brustkorb von hinten über die Achselhöhlenlinie hinaus umfassenden Rückenteil in Form zweier Platten b. Letztere sind der Gestalt des betreffenden Körperteiles entsprechend gebogen, können aus beliebigem Material, beispielsweise Aluminium bestehen und werden mit Polsterung versehen. Diese Platten sind in geeigneter Weise an den freien Enden von Hebeln c eines Rückengestänges d, β vermittels Schrauben oder Niete_/ mit Reibung drehbar angebracht. Die Hebel c drehen sich an ihren entgegengesetzten Enden um die Achse einer Schraube g, die in dem Schlitz h des Gestängeteiles d verschiebbar ist. Laschen i, ,welche sich um Schraubenhälse k desselben; Gestängeteiles drehen, stehen mit den Hebeln c in gelenkiger Verbindung, um eine bestimmte Bewegung seiner freien Enden zu ermöglichen. Patent Claims:

1.
