Kontaktelement für einen Stecker zur Herstellung einer elektrischen Steckverbindung, wobei die Kontaktelemente aus einem elektrisch lei­ tendem Material bestehen und stiftartig mit einer gleichbleibenden Dicke ausgebildet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in Längser­ streckung (Steckrichtung S) des Kontaktelements (1) zumindest zum Teil stellenweise gegenüber der herkömmlichen Dicke (D) eine grösse­ re Dicke (D') des Kontaktelements (1) vorgesehen ist.1.
