StoffeFabrics
Mutterlaugen, Ammoniak. The present invention relates to a preparation for the treatment of organic and/or inorganic substances such as metal or sewage sludge, liquid manure, compost, soil; also suitable for the adsorption and extraction or absorption of organic and inorganic solid, liquid, dissolved and gaseous substances such as mother liquors, ammonia.
A preferably high proportion of basic substances results in rapid neutralization of organic and inorganic acids, whereby, depending on the actual bonding forms of the bases selected (oxides, hydroxides and/or carbonates as well as silicates of sodium, potassium, magnesium and/or calcium), the stabilizing, hygienizing and conditioning effect in organic substances is simultaneously initiated. The special feature of the invention, however, is the combination of the basic substances with extremely porous and/or swellable sodium and/or potassium and/or aluminum and/or magnesium and/or calcium silicate phases. Various clay minerals as well as fine-particle, open-pored minerals and rocks can be used. Due to the variable silicate and/or carbonate content, a wide variety of adsorption and extraction mechanisms can be implemented, whereby in particular the emissions of foul-smelling or even harmful organic and/or inorganic gases such as mercaptans, terpenes, aldehydes and ammonia are prevented or at least reduced. This function of the invention is also particularly useful in technical filter systems for keeping the air clean, which correspond to the applications. A further feature is the chemical and physical binding of harmful metal ions such as lead and cadmium, but also arsenic, by the basic-porous system present in the agent according to the invention.
The physical and chemical properties of the organic substances are improved by the use of the agent according to the invention: Significant reduction of adhering water combined with increased mechanical resilience of treated organic and inorganic sludge; organic and inorganic pollutants are converted into immobile phases or stably adsorbed and absorbed or extracted; nutrients are also preserved and protected from leaching. After treatment, the organic materials are hygienically safe and can also be handled mechanically without any problems. The particularly large surface areas of the silicate components and the hydroxides, as well as the surfaces of various carbonate varieties, also form an excellent colonization base for microorganisms, which is why biological decomposition and conversion processes and the mineralization of organic material are accelerated and more complete. For example, in composting experiments with organic waste and green waste, a rotting acceleration with a time saving of 25 to 45% was achieved with the same target degree of rotting. Tests on cattle manure showed that settling layers were avoided and floating layers were biologically dissolved. At the same time, unpleasant odor emissions no longer occurred.
The proportions of the main components in the preparation according to the invention can be specified according to the test results available to date as 2 to 98 MA% aluminum and/or calcium and/or magnesium and/or potassium oxides and/or hydroxides and/or carbonates and 2 to 98 MA% aluminum and/or calcium and/or potassium and/or sodium and/or magnesium silicate phases.
The oxides and/or hydroxides and/or carbonates of aluminum and/or calcium and/or magnesium can be completely or partially replaced by sulfates and/or sulfites in the preparation; the latter are of interest when a shift in the reaction with increasing pH values is not required, but the biological activity is to be stimulated and odorants are to be neutralized at the same time. The basic reaction can therefore be strengthened or weakened and thus adjusted to suit the needs of the environment in question.
All basic substances as well as sulfates and sulfites and also the silicate components can be substituted by corresponding "secondary raw materials" in the sense of the circular economy, e.g. sulfates and/or sulfites from flue gas cleaning or from the production of organic acids, carbonates from water treatment and/or soda production.
A vaccination with Mtooorgam\smen is then of particular importance
eg contamination of the organic and/or inorganic substances with mineral oils, terpenes or other, difficult to degrade, substance groups. Corresponding bacterial species such as Azotobacter, Bacillus, Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter and their specialized strains round out the spectrum of action of the preparation.
Granulate, compactate or suspension formation is possible and useful in the interests of optimal handling or is process-specific.
