Claims (4)

1. Vorrichtung insbesondere zum Längsumreifen von Packgut (12) mit einem Umreifungsband (18), mit einem Tisch (14), mit einer Transporteinrichtung (36) für das Packgut (12), mit einer Führungskanalabschnitte aufweisenden Bandführungseinrichtung (24) zur Führung des Umreifungsbandes (18), mit einer Einschieß- und Rückzugeinrichtung (22, 24) zum Einschießen des Umreifungsbandes (18) in die Bandführungseinrichtung (24) und zum Straffspannen des Umreifungsbandes (18) um das Packgut (12) herum und mit einer Schweißeinrichtung (28) zum Verschweißen der entsprechenden Abschnitte des um das Packgut (12) herumgestrafften Umreifungsbandes (18), wobei ein ein Eintrittsende (48) und ein Austrittsende (50) aufweisender Längsführungskanalabschnitt (46) über dem Tisch (14) von diesem beabstandet in Bezug zur Transporteinrichtung (36) mittig vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem mittigen Längsführungskanalabschnitt (46) an seinem Eintrittsende (48) ein erster Vertikalführungskanalabschnitt (52) und an seinem Austrittsende (50) ein zweiter Vertikalführungskanalabschnitt (54) zugeordnet ist, die jeweils zur mechanischen Führung des Umreifungsbandes (18) vorgesehen und die jeweils zwischen einer vom mittigen Längsführungskanalabschnitt (46) beabstandeten Packgut-Transportstellung und einer zum mittigen Längsführungskanalabschnitt (46) zugeordneten Einschieß- und Umreifungsstellung verstellbar sind.1.
