Description:

Carrying handle for carrying plates, discs and panels by one person.

The invention relates to a carrying frame which makes it possible to carry plasterboard, glass panes, door leaves or even chipboard with only one person.

In the following, the object to be transported is referred to as "plate".

For example, if a plasterboard panel is to be transported, two people are required. One person carries the panel at the front and the other person carries the panel at the back. This is laborious because two people have to carry the panel.

If a person carries the plate in the middle, for example, the right hand holds the plate at the bottom and the left hand the plate at the top. This results in the right hand being turned by 180° and the edge of the plate (6) pressing very hard into the palm of the hand. This is very laborious and painful.

The solution:

A carrying handle (Fig. 1) which is pushed under in the middle of the long side of the plate (6). This allows the person to easily reach the ergonomically shaped handle (3) without turning the hand by 180° and without the plate (6) cutting into the palm of the hand (7) when carrying it.

Further advantages are:

- Since the carrying handle is an extension of the arm, the person carrying the plate does not have to bend as much when lifting or lowering the plate as if they were working without a carrying handle.

- When carrying or lifting, the tension strut (1) and the strut (4) are angled towards each other so that the hand (7) does not rest on or press against the plate (6) or even rub against it when walking.

The edge of the plate no longer cuts or presses into the palm of the hand when holding or lifting, as the person is gripping an ergonomically shaped handle (3).

- Since the plate can be carried lower with the handle (Fig. 1) than with the arm outstretched, it is possible (depending on the size of the person and the plate) that the person carrying the plate can see over it. This gives this person a better overview of their surroundings (e.g. staircase) when maneuvering.

Claims (4)

1. Carrying handle for carrying plates, disks or panels, characterized in that the handle ( 3 ) has a parallel distance to the plate ( 6 ) placed in the carrying handle ( Fig. 2). The distance is created by the strut ( 4 ) being inclined to the tension strut ( 1 ). The inclination can be a cant, bend or round. Furthermore, a horizontal tab ( 2 ) is attached to the bottom of the tension strut ( 1 ), on which the plate ( 6 ) can rest and which is prevented from slipping off the horizontal tab ( 2 ) at the side by the inclined tab ( 9 ). The carrying handle described above can consist of one or more carrying arms (4 + 1 + 2 + 9). 2. Carrying handle according to claim 1, characterized in that a non-slip coating is applied to the horizontal tabs ( 2 ) and diagonal tabs ( 9 ). 3. Carrying handle according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a spacer ( 5 ) which serves for stabilization is attached between the tension strut ( 1a ) and the tension strut ( 1b ). 4. Carrying handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the carrying handle for transporting a plate can be hooked into a carrying strap ( 10 ) with a carrying hook ( 11 ) which goes around the shoulder. This serves to distribute the weight of the plate over the shoulder or upper body.
