Die Erfindung betrifft den Einbau einer speziellen elektronischen Schaltung in einen handelsüblichen Satellitenempfänger, DVD-Player oder Videorecorder. Diese Schaltung dient der Erzeugung der doppelten Zeilenzahl / doppelten Bildwiederholfrequenz eines PAL-, Secam- oder NTSC-Signals, oder der Wiedergabe von dreidimensionalen, stereoskopischen PAL-, Secam- oder NTSC-Videosignalen sowohl im realen (echten) als auch im virtuellen (simulierten) Mode.The invention relates to the installation of a special electronic circuit in a commercially available satellite receiver, DVD player or video recorder. Bei herkömmlichen Fernsehbildern ist die Zeilenzahl auf ca. 625 Linien begrenzt, was auf einem Fernseher für die meisten Zuschauer durchaus ausreichend ist. Doch bei der Darstellung auf Fernsehern mit mehr als 70 Zentimeter Diagonale oder bei der Projektion mittels eines Beamers machen sich die Fernsehzeilen störend bemerkbar. Wird also eine höhere Bildqualität gefordert, so mußte bisher ein sogenannter Linedoubler extern zwischen die Geräte geschaltet werden.In conventional television images, the number of lines is limited to around 625 lines, which is sufficient for most viewers on a television. Dies wird mittels Einbau eines Input- und Outputmoduls in vorhandene Endgeräte (SAT/DVD/VCR) erreicht. Nach Einbau der elektronischen Schaltung wird dessen Bildqualität entscheidend verbessert. Es werden quasi hochaufgelöste Bilder an entsprechende Wiedergabegeräte über eine VGA-Buchse ausgegeben. Gleichzeitig ermöglicht diese spezielle Schaltung die Wiedergabe von echtem als auch von virtuellem 3D-Material. Dazu wird eine handelsübliche LCD-Shutterbrille benötigt. Weiter ermöglicht es die Schaltung, Kontrast, Helligkeit, Farbsättigung und Schärfe zu beeinflussen.This is achieved by installing an input and output module in existing end devices (SAT/DVD/VCR). Das Endgerät (A) besteht aus einem handelsüblichen Gerät, in dessen Gehäuse das Input/Output-Modul (B) eingebaut wird. Die darauf integrierte Schaltung (E) verdoppelt die ursprünglichen 625 Fernsehzeilen und gibt diese an eine VGA-Ausgangsbuchse (G) mit nun 1250 Zeilen (Progressivscan) aus. Außerdem ist es über ein weiteres Modul (F) möglich, ein zugespieltes 50Hz-2D-Signal in ein 100Hz-2D-Signal umzuwandeln. Das Input- und Outputmodul verarbeitet sowohl die Signale des umgebauten Sat-Receivers, DVD-Players oder Videorecorders in oben genannter Weise, als auch extern über FBAS- und S-Video-Buchsen (C) zugespielte Signale.
Wird eine Virtual-3D- oder Real-3D-Wiedergabe gewünscht, wird das Signal ebenfalls in ein 100Hz-Signal umgesetzt. Zusätzlich wird mit diesem 100Hz-Signal die über Kabel oder Infrarot angeschlossene LCD-Shutterbrille (H) synchronisiert. Weiter ermöglicht es die elektronische Schaltung, die beiden Teilbilder des gelieferten Fernseh-A/ideobildes im virtuellen 3D-Mode horizontal gegeneinander zu verschieben. Dadurch bekommen die so bearbeiteten 2D-Videosignale bei Betrachtung mit einer Shutterbrille (H) eine gewisse räumliche Tiefe.The terminal (A) consists of a standard device into whose housing the input/output module (B) is installed.
