Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verwandlungssofa der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Gattung.The invention relates to a convertible sofa of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Herkömmliche Verwandlungssofas mit einer Kippvorrichtung an der Sitz- bzw. Liegefläche und einem darunter befindlichen Bettkasten haben den Nachteil, dass - Sitzfläche und Liegefläche sind ja identisch - in Bezug auf deren Beschaffenheit bzw. deren Unterbau.ein Kompromiss geschlossen werden muss. Deshalb ist weder der Sitz- noch der Schlafkomfort optimal. Bei neueren Konstruktionen sind Sitzfläche und Liegefläche nicht identisch, da sie als die jeweils einander gegenüberliegenden Seiten eines faltbaren Matrazenkörpers angelegt sind. Deshalb kann deren Unterbau in einem gewissen Maße auf den jeweiligen Bedarf abgestimmt werden. Beim Umbau wird ein Teil des Matrazenkörpers mit Hilfe einer aufwendigen Mechanik angehoben und dann nach außen hin umgeklappt. Dadurch kommt die Liegefläche nach oben. Ein Nachteil derartiger Konstruktionen ist, dass die Mechanik kompliziert ist und bei häufigem Gebrauch ein Verschleiß bzw. Defekt zu erwarten ist. Da die aufwendige Mechanik aus massiven Metallteilen besteht, sind derartige Verwandlungssofas sehr schwer und damit wenig mobil. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass die Matraze - sie muss ja zusammengeklappt werden - eine mehrteilige, abknickbare Spezialmatraze sein muss. Auch fehlt aus Platzmangel ein integrierter Bettkasten für das Bettzeug. Es stellt sich die weitere Aufgabe, die Konstruktion so zu gestalten, dass das gesamte Bettzeug auf der Matraze selbst verbleiben kann und das Bett somit stets fertig zur Verfügung steht. Dadurch würde auch ein gesonderter Bettkasten überflüssig. Die Umwandlung des Bettes in ein Sofa und umgekehrt sollte mit nur wenigen Handgriffen möglich sein und zwar ohne den Einsatz einer komplizierten, reparatur- und verschleißanfälligen, schweren und kostspieligen Mechanik. Schließlich stellt sich die Aufgabe, eine Lösung zu finden, die das Auftreten von Gleitrollenspuren oder Druckstellen im Umfeld des Schlafsofas ausschließt und den Platzbedarf des Bettes auf den des Sofas beschränkt.
