Toupets, künstliche Haarteile, sind seit langem in vielen Varianten bekannt. So werden beispielsweise die verschiedensten Materialien für die Haare verwendet, bevorzugt selbstverständlich Naturhaar und es gibt es die unterschiedlichsten Ausgestaltungen betreffend die Befestigung, den Sitz und die Einflechtung der Haare in den Grundkörper des Toupets. Ein erfindungsgemäßes Toupet besteht im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel aus einem Stirnteil 1, einem vorderen Schädelteil 2, einem hinteren Schädelteil 3 und einem Nackenteil 4. Es ist selbstverständlich nicht notwendig, daß die Teilung eines erfindungsgemäßen Toupets auf die dargestellte Art und Weise erfolgt, doch entsprechen diese Teile im wesentlichen den Bereichen der sich ändernden menschlichen Hauptbehaarung, sodaß eine solche Teilung in vielen Fällen angemessen ist.
