Description
PaneelPanel
The invention relates to a panel which consists of a core layer and at least one outer cover layer materially connected thereto.
Such panels could also be referred to as boards or panels, which are suitable for a wide variety of uses. The panel in question is a layered composite made of suitable plastics. Normally, the middle core layer is covered on both sides by a cover layer.
Da es sich dabei um äußerst gut thermisch leitende Materialien handelt, werden sie mit Platten ausgeschlagen, die aus einem thermisch isolierendenRefrigerated vehicles are necessary for the transport of perishable foodstuffs, whereby, depending on the type of vehicle, individual compartments may also have to be cooled down to sub-zero temperatures for frozen goods. Refrigerated rooms or cold stores are required for the storage of such foodstuffs. The walls of cold stores or cold stores are lined with suitable, thermally insulating materials. One very well-known material is so-called Styrofoam. The load-bearing parts of refrigerated vehicles are normally made of metal, preferably steel. Since these are extremely good thermal conductors, they are lined with panels made of a thermally insulating material.

Material bestehen. Gleiches gilt auch fur Kühlgeräte, beispielsweise Kühlschränke, Gefriergeräte u.dgl.material. The same applies to cooling devices, such as refrigerators, freezers, etc.
It has been found that the thermally insulating materials used to date can only withstand low mechanical forces. They also absorb moisture, which reduces the thermally insulating effect, so that further measures may be necessary. In addition, the thermally insulating materials currently used are very brittle and have extremely low impact resistance.
The invention is based on the object of designing a panel or a plate or a board of the type described in more detail at the outset in such a way that the thermally insulating effect is fully retained, but in particular the mechanical load-bearing capacity is increased.
The task is solved by the base material for the panel being a polyolefin, preferably polypropylene, the core layer being made of a polyolefin foam (polypropylene and/or polyethylene) and at least one fabric layer being embedded in each outer cover layer. It is important that the cell structure of the foam is designed in such a way that the surface of the foam or the foam as a whole prevents moisture from penetrating. This is achieved by avoiding pores between the cells of the foam. The foam can be open-cell or closed-cell, cross-linked or non-cross-linked.
Außerdem wurde Polypropylen mit Textilien und anderen dekorativenThe group of plastics known as polyolefins is already used for many highly stressed technical parts. The thermal insulation required for use in refrigerated vehicles and refrigerators is completely sufficient. However, compared to the thermally insulating materials known to date, the load-bearing capacity and impact resistance are significantly higher, with polypropylene having better mechanical properties. However, polypropylene is particularly preferred for household appliances and the like. In addition, polypropylene has been combined with textiles and other decorative materials.

Materialien beschichtet. Materials coated. In addition, ropes, filters, nets, yarns and artificial turf were made from polypropylene. Since the core now consists of a waterproof polyolefin foam, the thermal insulation is even better. Since the cover layers or the cover layer now has at least one fabric layer, the mechanical load-bearing capacity, in particular the impact resistance, can be increased to such an extent that superstructures for commercial vehicles can be made from the panel according to the invention. Since the weight of the superstructure is significantly reduced compared to known designs, the payload of a commercial vehicle can be increased with the same permissible total weight. There is also the advantage that no heat or cold bridges are created when the panel is used. This means that, for example, when used as a superstructure for a refrigerated vehicle, either the temperature inside the superstructure is reduced or the performance of the refrigeration unit can be advantageously reduced. The fabric of the cover layers can be made of a wide variety of materials, although a sufficiently high mechanical load-bearing capacity is required. In a preferred embodiment, a glass fiber or fiber material is used which is embedded in a material from the polyolefin group, preferably polypropylene. The cover layers and the middle core layer are initially produced in separate processes and then thermally combined. The mesh size of the fabric is small, so that the embedding of the crossing threads or rods can also be seen as a sheathing using the plastic polypropylene.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. They show:

Bevorzugt kommen jedoch Glasfasern in Frage. The inner core layer 11 consists of a waterproof polyolefin foam, so that the thermal insulation is very high. The two cover layers 12 are equipped with at least one fabric layer 13, which is either embedded in the cover layer 12 made of polypropylene or whose crossing threads or wires are covered with polypropylene. This fabric mat 13 has a significant influence on the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the panel, so that the panel can be used to make building walls or walls of vehicle bodies. No thermal or cold bridges are created, since the panel can be considered a solid plastic panel, although the fabric 13 can be made of suitable materials. However, glass fibers are preferred. Figure 2 shows the fabric 13 in an enlarged version. The mesh size of the fabric 13 is relatively small, so that the outer surface of each cover layer 13 can still be considered to be smooth, even if the crossing threads or wires are covered with polypropylene. According to the representation in Figure 2, the distances between the crossing threads or wires are equal. Contrary to this representation, they could also be unequal. Due to the low density of the polyolefin foam and the low weight per unit area of the cover layers 12, the weight of the panel per unit area is extremely low.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown. What is important is that the middle core layer consists of a waterproof polyolefin foam and that the outer cover layers each contain at least one fabric layer.
