Claims (2)

1. Vorrichtung zur Detektion einer Flachgutkante, z. B. einer Papierbogen-Kante, mit einer Sammellinse (4), einer in der optischen Achse (20) der Sammellinse (4) angeordneten, im wesentlichen punktförmigen Lichtquelle (1), einer Strahlteiler-Einheit (3), die eine Transmissions-Eingangsöffnung (8), eine Reflexions-Ausgangsöffnung (10) und eine Transmissions-Ausgangs- und Reflexions-Eingangsöffnung (9) umfaßt, und einem optischen Sensorelement (2), an das eine Komparator-Einheit (19) angeschlossen ist, wobei die im wesentlichen punktförmige Lichtquelle (1) im Abstand der doppelten Brennweite (2f) der Sammellinse (4) von dieser entfernt und die Strahlteiler-Einheit (3) zwischen der im wesentlichen punktförmigen Lichtquelle (1) und der Sammellinse (4) angeordnet ist, und wobei das optische Sensorelement (2) auf die Reflexions-Ausgangsöffnung (10) der Strahlteiler-Einheit (3) gerichtet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der der Lichtquelle (1) gegenüberliegenden Seite der Sammellinse (4) im Abstand der doppelten Brennweite (2f) von der Sammellinse (4) entfernt ein Bereich (32) zur Detektion der Flachgutkante (31) ausgebildet ist, wobei beim Auftreffen des im Detektionsbereich (32) fokussierten Lichtstrahls der im wesentlichen punktförmigen Lichtquelle (1) auf eine Kante einer mit einem Normalabstand in der Größe der doppelten Brennweite (2f) von der Sammellinse (4) entfernten Flachgutoberfläche die von der Flachgutkante reflektierte Lichtintensität ein Sensorsignal hervorruft, das einen vorbestimmbaren Schwellwert der Komparator-Einheit (19) überschreitet.1.
