Abstract

The fuel supply installation is for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine with at least two cylinder ranks (10,12), for the individual cylinders of which injection valves (20) are available. The valves are provided with fuel from a common rail distributor installation (24,25) using a fuel feed pump (26). A supply conduit (32) of the fuel delivery pump leads to a distributor piece (34), which on the outlet side is connected to two inflow conduits (36,38) connected to the common rail distributor installation. Das wesentliche Merkmal des Common Rail-Systems ist, daß der Einspritzdruck unabhängig von der Motordrehzahl und der Einspritzmenge erzeugt und der mittlere Einspritzdruck erhöht werden kann, wobei die Entkopplung von Druckerzeugung und Einspritzung mit Hilfe des Speichervolumens erfolgt. Dieses Volumen setzt sich aus Bestandteilen der gemeinsamen Verteilerleiste (Common Rail) in den Kraftstoff- Zufuhrleitungen und in den Injektoren selbst, zusammen. Die von der Kraftstoffförderpumpe erzeugten Druckpulsationen erfordern im Common Rail ein entsprechendes Speicher-Kraftstoffvolumen, um diese Druckschwankungen entsprechend dämpfen zu können. Die Ansaugstutzen 14, 16 sind wiederum mit einer nicht dargestellten Ansauganlage für Verbrennungsluft verbunden, wobei die einzelnen Kanäle der Ansauganlage mit den in den Ansaugstutzen 14, 16 angeordneten Einlaßöffnungen 18 korrespondieren. In den beiden Ansaugstutzen 14, 16 werden die für die Kraftstoffzufuhr in die Brennräume vorgesehenen Einspritzventile 20 gehalten, wobei die Enden der Düsen 22 nach dem Prinzip der Benzin-Direkteinspritzung direkt in den Brennraum der Brennkraftmaschine führen. Von den beiden Ausgangsseiten des T-Verteilerstücks 34 führen zwei Zulaufleitungen 36, 38 zu den beiden Verteilerleisten 24, 25 der Zylinderreihen 10 und 12. Die Anschlußenden 40, 42 der beiden Zulaufleitungen 36, 38 sind mit den beiden Ansaugstutzen 14, 16 verschraubt, wobei die Einschrauböffnungen über in den Ansaugstutzen 14, 16 vorgesehene Bohrungen (nicht sichtbar) zu den Kanälen der beiden Verteilerleisten 24, 25 führen.   • - mindestens zwei Zylinderreihen (10, 12), denen den einzelnen Zylindern Einspritzventile (20) zugeordnet sind,
  • - die Einspritzventile (20) werden pro Zylinderreihe (10, 12) über jeweils eine gemeinsame Verteilerleiste (24, 25) mit Kraftstoff aus einer Kraftstoffförderpumpe (26) versorgt,
  • - eine Versorgungsleitung (32) der Kraftstoffförderpumpe (26) führt zu einem Verteilerstück (34), das ausgangsseitig mit zwei Zulaufleitungen (36, 38) verbunden ist, die an den Verteilerleisten (24, 25) angeschlossen sind,
  • - die beiden Zulaufleitungen (36, 38) nehmen jeweils ca. 40-70% des für eine Kraftstoffeinspritzung mit geringer Druckpulsation erforderlichen Kraftstoffvolumens auf, während der andere Teil des Kraftstoffs in den Verteilerleisten (24, 25) und in den Einspritzventilen (20) Aufnahme findet.

  • - at least two rows of cylinders ( 10 , 12 ), to which the individual cylinders are assigned injection valves ( 20 ),
  • the fuel injectors ( 20 ) are supplied with fuel from a fuel feed pump ( 26 ) for each row of cylinders ( 10 , 12 ) via a common distributor rail ( 24 , 25 ),
  • a supply line ( 32 ) of the fuel feed pump ( 26 ) leads to a distributor ( 34 ) which is connected on the outlet side to two inlet lines ( 36 , 38 ) which are connected to the distributor strips ( 24 , 25 ),
  • - The two feed lines ( 36 , 38 ) each take up approximately 40-70% of the fuel volume required for a fuel injection with low pressure pulsation, while the other part of the fuel in the distributor strips ( 24 , 25 ) and in the injection valves ( 20 ) intake finds.
2. Kraftstoffversorgungseinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Verteilerstück (34) mindestens eine Drossel (54, 56) zur Reduzierung der von der Kraftstoffförderpumpe (26) erzeugten Druckpulsationen vorgesehen ist.2.
