In Fig. 1 ist ein Winkelstecker 10 mit einem kappenartigen Steckergehäuse 12, einem die offene Seite 14 des Steckergehäuses 12 verschließbaren Deckel 16 sowie einem Kontaktelemente zum Verbinden mit einer geräte- oder maschinen festen Steckeinrichtung tragenden Kontaktträger, der in Bezug auf das Steckergehäuse 12 verstellbar und feststellbar ist. Die Besonderheit des Winkelsteckers besteht darin, dass der Deckel 16 den Kontaktträger bildet. Man erkennt, dass der Deckel 16 mindestens zwei verschiedene Betriebspositionen einnehmen kann, wobei der Deckel 16 um definierte Winkelschritte versetzbar ist. Die Winkelschritte betragen vorzugsweise 45°, 90° oder 180°. Eine wei tere besonders zweckmäßige Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sieht vor, dass zwischen dem Steckergehäuse 12 und dem Deckel 16 eine Dichtung 20 an geordnet ist. Der Deckel 16 weist eine nach innen vorspringende Nase 54 mit einer Ausnehmung 52 auf, die mit einem Vorsprung 50 des Gehäuses 12 verrastbar ist. Durch Änderung der Grundplattengeometrie des Kontaktträgers sind andere Winkelschritte möglich. Es ist daher möglich, auch den Gesamtdrehwinkel durch die Anschlaggestaltung noch zu verändern. Durch das Verschrauben des Steckers auf dem Ventil bzw. auf den Aufsteckvorgang auf das am Ventil befindliche Gegenstück wird das Gehäuse über die Kontur der Grundplatte geschoben, womit die gewählte Winkelstellung durch den Formschluss fixiert ist. Zur Änderung der Richtung des Kabelabgangs muss der vorgeschlagene Stecker nach der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 1 nicht unbedingt vom Gegen stück abgezogen werden.
