Abstract
Description
It is known that in the control of electric motors depending on the selected control device electrical voltages are induced can. This preferably occurs in three-phase motors which are operated by means of Frequency converters are regulated. Due to the induced voltages between the rotor and stator or the housing of the motor Build up electrical potential. This potential is discharged through the roller bearings of the motor, which is usually a conductive connection between the rotor and Represent housing, this continuity can damage the Rolling bearings lead to complete bearing failure. Especially with very high-speed motors, such as those found in machine tools Finding use, the bearing damage mentioned is a serious problem. Furthermore, various methods are known on the motor for deriving the to provide electrical potential mentioned. This usually happens through sliding contact elements such as springs or carbon brushes. At very high-speed engines are the well-known elements of a very large Wear that often leads to its early failure.
The invention specified in claim 1 addresses the problem for high-speed motors to create a contact element that almost none Is subject to wear and therefore functional over a long period of time remains. This problem is solved by the in the invention as Contact element a brush with a large number of conductive fibers, preferably Carbon fibers is used.
The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular that the fibers used and their geometric arrangement are one of many thousands of individual fibers existing contact surface is generated, almost none Contact pressure against the moving engine part needs. Relating to the extremely favorable friction and sliding behavior of the carbon fibers used This creates a contact element that is simple and long Excels lifespan.
The advantageous embodiment of the invention according to the in the claims 2 to 5 features mentioned allows the brush ring to the different Adapt the requirements of the engine manufacturer and easily when servicing to design changing components.
Two embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 zeigt einen handelsüblichen Drehstrommotor (1). Fig. 1 shows a commercially available three-phase motor ( 1 ). The carrier element ( 2 ) with the brush ring ( 3 ) is attached in the fan housing ( 4 ). The brushes of the brush ring ( 3 ) make axial contact with the motor shaft ( 5 ) and ensure that the voltages induced in the rotor ( 6 ) are dissipated.
Fig. 2 zeigt ebenfalls einen Drehstrommotor (11). Fig. 2 also shows a three-phase motor ( 11 ). The brush ring ( 13 ) is attached to the motor shaft ( 15 ) with a suitable carrier element ( 12 ). The brushes have radial contact with a corresponding housing component ( 16 ) which is attached in the fan housing ( 14 ).
