Die Ringleuchte 1 ist aus einer Leiterplatte 3 mit einer zentralen Öffnung 4 und einem keilförmigen Ausschnitt gebildet. Die Lei terplatte 3 besteht aus einer kupferbeschichteten Kunststoff scheibe. Die Rückseite ist entsprechend der an sich bekannten Leiterplatten-Technik geätzt und mit Widerständen 6 für die Strombegrenzung und Dioden 7 für den Verpolungsschutz ver sehen. Auf der Vorderseite ist die Leiterplatte 3 mit gleichmäßig verteilten Leuchtdioden (5) (LED = Light Emitting Diode = licht aussendende Diode) bestückt. Die Stromanschlüsse sind nicht dargestellt. Der keilförmige, von der zentralen Öffnung 4 bis zum Außenrand 11 reichende Ausschnitt 8 ist von Schnittkanten 9 und 10 gebildet. An der Schnittkante 9 sind zwei Laschen 12 und 13 mit Bohrungen 14 vorgesehen. Die aus einem flexiblen Kunststoff bestehende Leiterplatte 3 läßt sich ohne Schwierig keiten wölben, so daß sich die Schnittkanten 9, 10 aneinander legen und sich die beiden Leiterplattenteile mittels der Laschen 12, 13 verbinden lassen und somit die Leiterplatte 3 eine koni sche Form annimmt. Die Verbindung erfolgt mittels Nieten 15 durch die Bohrungen 14. Auch kann die Verbindung mittels einer Verklebung erfolgen. Die Leiterplatte 3 ist in einem Leuchtengehäuse 18 eingebaut und dabei auf Auflager 19 ab gestützt. Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Anordnung ist ein Mini malsabstand 20 von der Unterkante der Ringleuchte 1 bis zur Oberkante der Objekte 17 von 30 mm erreichbar.
