Abstract

An environmentally friendly clay pigeon disc is made of biodegradable materials to replaced clay. The disc has a segmented structure defined by a groove pattern. This enables the disc to be easily shattered when hit. The pieces of the discs degrade rapidly when moist eliminating the need to collect disc pieces. The discs are shaped to fit standard catapult machines.

Description

Plate-like throwing discs (made of ceramic material or plastic) become the target for hunting Practice shooting or sport shooting (competition) at regular shooting ranges set. Practice shooting is used to learn how to handle and how to use Shotguns, to test the ability to shoot (firing weapons) and to improve the Shooting technique (e.g. swinging the weapon forward). The target shooting is a real one near-training, d. H. situations close to hunting are simulated.

The throwing disc hit by the shot shatters more or less severely into individual parts depending on the impact of the projectile.

The throwing disks are designed to be catapulted from regular throwing machines can and due to their flight geometry and physical properties (mass, through knife) have a desired flight behavior.

A major disadvantage of the existing spreading discs is that after they are destroyed (Fragmentation) are widely scattered in the landscape, so that collecting and ent worry is difficult and uneconomical. There is an increased risk of soil contamination Throwing discs, the material of which contains environmentally harmful substances and heavy metals.

The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular that the litter developed disk made of biodegradable materials (BAW) with particulate mineral Fillers exist and is therefore environmentally compatible. When impacting environmentally neutral scrap (environmentally friendly ammunition) bursts due to the inserted breaking points the spreading disc underside and the mineral content in the material, in clearly visible Fragments. The material fragments can ver in the landscape without restrictions remain because of a variety of microorganisms in biologically active and moist order emission (e.g. earth) to carbon dioxide, water and biomass in a short time, or vice versa can be built. If the above-mentioned environmental conditions do not exist, it remains the throwing disc is preserved in its outer shape and is therefore storable.

Various embodiments of the invention are shown in the following drawings (Appendix 4 ).

The spreading disc according to the invention has dimensions that allow its use in conventional throwing machines. Fig. 2 shows the underside of the spreading disc with the predetermined breaking points (see De tailansicht, Fig. 3), which take into account the flight characteristics and fragmentation depending on the biodegradable material and filler.
