Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dust and pollutant filter system according to Preamble of claim 1. By wetting the dust, filtering and Separation from the liquid in a rotating chamber with the help of Centrifugal force removes dust and pollutants from the air.
In DE patent 29 46 85 a vacuum cleaner with a liquid filter is described in which the air sweeps across a surface of water. The air is sprayed or the water is whirled up, but there is no intensive contact of the air with the water comes about, there is no provision for pollutant separation.
Here the air passes a spray device but without turbulent intensive Mix and then a water bath. The separation of the water over baffle plates is not complete, the flow resistance is large, one Pollutant separation is not provided.
Die Wasserabscheidung im Zyklon verbraucht relativ viel der Saugenergie und ist nicht vollständig, eine Schadstoffabscheidung ist nicht vorgesehen.GM 91 05 213.0 describes a vacuum cleaner in which the air comes first a coarse filter passes, then a venturi scrubber that passes through the Vacuum cleaner blower is supplied with air and water by a pump. The water is separated from the air in a cyclone separator. The Droplet size is relatively large, so dust-binding efficiency is low. The Water separation in the cyclone consumes a relatively large amount of the suction energy and is not complete, pollutant separation is not provided.
In EP 0 768 058 A2 a household cleaning device is presented, in which one Box a Venturi tube is housed, passing through a second airflow (Bypass) of the vacuum cleaner fan or by a separate fan this is supplied with air, whereby water is drawn from a tank and into a chamber is sprayed, thereby binding the dust. The Water separation uses a lot of energy, there is a risk of Blockage of the passageway means that a lot of the suction energy goes lost, separation of pollutants is not provided.
The object of the invention is an inexpensive dust and To propose pollutant filter system, which also like extremely fine dusts e.g. B. pollen, spores, bacteria, dust mites, mite droppings and dust, viruses, Tobacco dust, toner, etc., but also liquid, vaporous and solid Pollutants such as solvents, formaldehyde, asbestos removed from the air. It should be adaptable to normal house vacuum cleaners.
Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgaben entsprechend den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Anspruch 1.The invention solves these problems according to the characterizing Features of claim 1.
Further developments of the invention can be found in the subclaims.
It is essential for the invention that the dust and pollutant filter system, by the air flow from an external fan such as B. a conventional Suction blower can be driven, therefore no separate It is necessary to have a power connection that in addition to dust and fine dust such as pollen, Spores, bacteria, house dust mites, mite droppings and dust, viruses, tobacco dust, Toners, etc. can also filter out pollutants that are threefold and thus safe wetting of the dust and pollutants takes place, as well that filtering and separating the cleaned air from polluted Liquid with very low energy consumption supported by centrifugal force becomes. It is still very inexpensive to manufacture. Through the separate, from Fan decoupled filter system is at risk of short circuit inadvertently leaking water minimized.
By coupling the filter system to a suitable blower or on another type of generated air flow creates an air filter system. The dust and Pollutant filter system can only be used on existing vacuum cleaners Have dry filters to be adapted. It is especially for allergy sufferers The effectiveness of dry filter systems is insufficient because the finest dusts, even in the smallest concentrations to health impairments being able to lead.
B. neue Fahrzeuge, usw.The system is also suitable as a filter system for gaseous liquid and solid pollutants such as solvent vapors, formaldehyde, asbestos and others harmful dust, which is in the private household, in the car, or elsewhere can occur again and again, e.g. B. when painting windows, doors or from household furniture, when laying carpets, when Operation of night storage heaters in rooms that are newly equipped, e.g. B. new Vehicles, etc.
The dust and pollutant filter system according to the invention removes dusts Wetting and precipitation with liquid, preferably with water.
Another advantage is the low energy efficiency of the Separation of the dirty water containing dust and pollutants from the Airflow, as well as independence from a power supply, which is a Retrofitting of household vacuum cleaners is easier because the system from filtering air flow can be driven. The airflow can also pass through moving vehicles, by dynamic pressure, by compressors, or by Pressure difference are generated. But also the drive of the chamber with one conventional engine, as well as the atomization of water by means of a Compressor is possible.
By generating turbulence and counter currents using a mechanical, fast rotating, driven by the filter chamber Atomizer and turbulence generator in the rotating filter chamber in addition, the wetting of dust particles and solid pollutants improved.
It has proven to be advantageous if the inner rotors already have nozzles pre-atomized water, because it is in connection with Turbine-like rotors have a very intensive wetting of the dust particles.
The liquid droplets enter a, the rotating filter chamber radially surrounding, connected with this rotating, permeable Liquid collecting layer, which has a large inner surface. Possibly. by spraying dust particles not wetted by liquid, at the latest in the rotating liquid collection layer which is captured by the liquid and bound. In this preferred embodiment, triple wetting of the Dust provided, so that the wetting safety and thus the Efficiency is very high.
The tiny dust-laden droplets reunite in this layer to drops or to a liquid flow, which is caused by the centrifugal forces outer surface.
In a further filter layer, which preferably consists of activated carbon Solvent vapors and other gaseous pollutants bound and held back. It is also the operation with only one or with several Filter or liquid collection layers possible, the arrangement of the Layers can also be reversed, d. H. the pollutant binding layer can also be arranged inside. The wall of the rotating chamber can also be designed as a filter and liquid collection layer. Also in "dry operation" d. H. without introducing a liquid, is the system suitable for removing gaseous pollutants from the air, e.g. B. Solvent vapors.
Both the chamber and the inner wall of the housing are included water-repellent material such as B. a fluoropolymer or a polyolefin proves that the water collects and drains faster.
The penetration and filter resistance of the filter media is determined by the rapid rotation of the chamber and the resulting centrifugal forces which act on the water, at least partially compensated.
The dusty droplets become from the outer surface of the filter chamber thrown off by the centrifugal force, which makes them dust-free from the now Air to be separated. The dust-free air leaves without noteworthy Resistance the filter and separation system. The drops laden with dust collect in a water-repellent surrounding the filter chamber Material lined, housing and flow from there, over likewise water-repellent material, in a closed container. This can can be emptied in a simple manner. But it is also the operation of the liquid in the Cycle possible. For this is between the storage vessel and the collecting vessel on a hose or pipe a filter or a settling vessel and one Pump attached.

Fig. 1 shows a section through a dust and Schadstoffiltersystem, in a housing 1 having an air inlet region 2 and a plurality of air outlet openings 3, and a fluid outlet 4. By tangentially obliquely into the housing 1 opens air inlet pipe 5 which, preferably by an unillustrated air-conducting connection with a not shown fan a vacuum fan, is connected, passes an air stream 6 to the radially mounted on a core 7, arranged about the axis CC, Wing 8 .
Together with the core 7 and the air wheel wall 46, these form an impeller 9 , which is set into a rotary movement by the pressure of the air flow 6 . The core 7 of the pneumatic wheel contains a central through bore 54 ( FIG. 4) which receives the feed line 28 for the liquid 65 . The conical Luftradwandung 46 of the impeller 9 , which has partial openings 47 in the lower area, which are covered with filter material 48 , prevent that introduced liquid 33 remains in the impeller by the centrifugal force, or leaves the housing 1 unfiltered. Liquid that emerges from the filter 48 is spun off and runs into the liquid collector 37 within the rib profile 40 , which serves as a spacer for the liquid collecting layer 35 . The impeller 9 is connected to a cover ring 10 which is open inwards in the central region 11 and covers the spaces 13 , 39 of the walls 14 , 15 , 16 in the outer region 12 up to close to the housing 1 . On the impeller 9 there are also inclined air blades 18 which reach into the chamber 17 and which abut the inner wall 14 of the chamber 17 . The walls 14 , 15 , 16 contain radially distributed passages 52 for air, liquid and dust. The air flow 6 passes through the space between the vanes 8 onto the inclined air blades 18 and exerts an additional pressure on them, which is added to that generated by the air blades 18 . As a result, the chamber 17 rotates, which is composed of the bottom part 19 , the walls 14 , 15 , 16 connected to it , and the chamber core 25 , also connected to the bottom part, and the outer rotor 20 . An inner ring gear 27 is arranged in the chamber core 25 and drives the inner rotors 24 via a gearwheel system 26 which is attached to the chamber carrier 22 . The gear system 26 and the inner rotors 24 are mounted on bearings, not shown, preferably ball or needle bearings. The inner rotors 24 connected to the gear system and the outer rotor 20 rotate in opposite directions, the inner rotors rotating at one to one hundred times the speed of the outer rotor 20 . The chamber 17 is carried and guided by one or more bearings 21 , preferably ball bearings or needle bearings, which are connected to the chamber carrier 22 , which is fastened in the housing 1 .
One or more spray nozzles 23 are arranged on the housing 1 in the area of the air inlet 2 and spray liquid, preferably water, into the air stream 6 in a preferably finely divided form. The dust contained in the air is moistened and thus bound. The air flow 6 with the sprayed liquid reaches the chamber 17 via the blades 8 and the air blades 18 , where it meets the inner rotors 24 . Leads 28 lead to the inner rotors 24 by means of which water is brought into the inner rotors 24 , where it is atomized by a high number of revolutions of the inner rotors 24 and the resulting centrifugal forces 31 and shear forces. This makes the wetting of all dust and pollutant particles even safer. The wetting of the dust and pollutant particles is further supported by the turbulence arising during the rotation of the inner rotors 24 and the outer rotor 20 , which bring the liquid particles into contact with the dust and pollutant particles faster and more reliably. Due to the pressure of the inflowing air 6 and because of the centrifugal forces 31 resulting from the rotation of the chamber 17 , air 6 , dust and pollutants pass through the wall 14 into the intermediate space 13 , in which filter and liquid collecting mats 32 are arranged around the entire circumference. These absorb the liquid with the dust particles therein, hold back coarse dust and transfer the liquid with the fine dust and solid pollutants therein through the wall 15 into the intermediate space 39 , which is filled with activated carbon 34 all around. At the latest in the filter and liquid collection mats 32 , the large surface in the material causes the dust and pollutant particles to be wetted. The threefold protection against wetting ensures extremely high efficiency. The filter layer made of activated carbon 34 in the intermediate space 39 is preferably accommodated in an air-permeable fabric bag. It takes liquid and vaporous pollutants such as. B. solvent and formaldehyde and holds them back. After the activated carbon 34 has been saturated with pollutants, the prey can be removed and disposed of in a regulated manner. Other materials with a large specific surface area, as are known from filter technology, are also suitable as absorption material. Fine dust such as B. pollen, spores, bacteria, dust mites, mite droppings and dust, viruses, tobacco dust, toner but also asbestos etc. which penetrates the filter layer 34 remains in the liquid, is with it, after penetrating the wall 16 in the form of Drops are thrown off by the centrifugal force and taken up by the liquid collection layer 35 applied in the housing 1, which is attached to the housing 1 at a distance from the wall of the housing 1 by a rib profile 40 . Due to the cohesive force of the water and the pronounced adsorbing properties of the liquid collection layer 35 , the water 33 is transported into the interior of the liquid collection layer 35 and, due to gravity, reaches the liquid collector 37 designed as a circumferential ring. From here it runs through the liquid outlet 4 into the collecting vessel, not shown.
B. coated with a fluoropolymer or a polyolefin water-repellent to improve the collection of liquid droplets.
The filter elements 32 , 34 and the liquid collection layer 35 are easily accessible for changing by removing the cover 36 of the housing 1 , removing the impeller 9 and the cover ring 10 . These components are advantageously by means of easily detachable connections such. B. connectors and bayonet locks attached.
FIG. 2 shows a cross section through part of a housing 1 with air outlet openings 3 , a liquid collector 37 and a particularly preferred rotating mechanical atomizer 100 which generates counterflow and turbulence. This is mounted in the housing 1 on the chamber core 25 and is driven by the chamber 17 through the chamber core 25 . It consists of an inner, turbine-like rotor 42 with inclined blades, which is connected to the gear 26 , and the outer rotor 43 , which has suction openings 44 distributed around the circumference. Approximately at the level of the suction openings 44 are the ends of pipelines 50 through which liquid, preferably in a pre-atomized form, is sprayed to the suction openings 44 . The outer rotor 43 is connected to the bottom part 19 by the chamber core 25 . An inner ring gear 27 which is mounted in the chamber core 25 and a system of gear wheels 26 which is arranged on the chamber carrier 22 drive the inner rotor 42 . The chamber core 25 with the bottom part 19 connected to it and the chamber 17 located thereon is carried and guided by a bearing 21 mounted in the chamber core 25 and on the chamber carrier 22 . Due to the rapid rotation of the rotor 42 , dust, air and liquid are sucked in through the suction openings 44 , swirled intensively by the rotor 42 and expelled against the main air stream 6 . The liquid 33 atomized by the rotor 42 in connection with the counter flow generated and the turbulence resulting therefrom lead to an effective humidification of the dust. By directed to the rotor 43 spray nozzles 45 liquid is drawn, which is further atomized by the rotor 42 and by the data generated by the rotor 42 flows and turbulence in the chamber 17 (Fig. 1) are distributed, thereby effecting an intense wetting of the dust particles. The liquid is separated from the air in the housing 1 by the chamber 17 .
Fig. 3 shows a section AA of FIG. 1 through a preferred embodiment of a dust and pollutant filter. In a housing 1 , a liquid collecting layer 35 is attached to the inner wall of the housing 1, spaced apart by fastening elements 38 . A mechanical atomizer 100 is installed in the center of the chamber 17 . It consists of a toothed outer rotor 43 running with the chamber, which is attached to the chamber core 25 ( FIG. 1). In the outer rotor 43 there is an inner rotor 51 , which also runs in opposite directions at a short distance and is also toothed. This is driven by the rotating chamber 17 via a gear system (not shown) on the chamber carrier 22 and an internal ring gear 27 in the chamber core 25 . A fleece 57 and a cushion 56 filled with activated carbon are arranged between the chamber walls 14 , 15 , 16 . In the center of the inner rotor 51 there is a liquid feed line 28 , through which water enters the rotor 51 , which is atomized in the rotors 43 , 51 by impact and shear action. The mist generated by the rotors 43 , 51 as well as the turbulence and currents additionally dampen the dust in the chamber 17 . The inflowing air and the acting centrifugal force bring moisture, dust, pollutants and air into the moisture collecting layer made of fleece 57 , so that the dust particles are wetted here at the latest. Coarse dust particles are retained here, air, liquid and fine dust penetrate the fleece 57 and reach the activated carbon layer 56 , in which liquid and vaporous pollutants are retained. After penetration of the outer wall 16 , the liquid, which also contains fine dust, is thrown in drop form into the liquid collection layer 35 , from which it is absorbed and via the liquid collector 37 (not shown) ( FIG. 1) through the liquid drain 4 ( FIG. 1 ) runs into the collecting vessel, not shown.
Fig. 4 shows a further, preferred embodiment of a dust and Schadstoffilters invention. It shows a cross section through a housing 1 with an air inlet tube 5 attached tangentially to the side of the housing, an indicated air path 6 , the top view of an impeller with a core 7 , which contains a central opening 54 for a liquid supply line, not shown, and the vanes attached to it 8 . A cover ring 10 , which covers the underlying chamber walls 14 , 15 , 16 and extends from the inner chamber wall 14 to the ends of the wings 8 close to the housing 1 , as well as the air vanes 18 attached to it, which are inclined inwards on the inner chamber wall 14 protrude into the chamber 17 , and a housing 1 with a rib profile 40 , which is located under the cover ring 10 and leads into the liquid collector 37 ( not shown).
Fig. 5 shows a further particularly preferred embodiment of an example of the invention. It shows a section through the upper region of a housing 1 with an air inlet tube 5 , which is arranged tangentially on the cover 63 and to the cross section of the round housing 1 and which has a plurality of thin openings 45 arranged around the circumference for injecting liquid. These are arranged in such a way that the liquid is sprayed at right angles to the air flow 6 in the direction of the center of the air flow 6 , entrained by the air flow and atomized. Furthermore, a liquid inlet pipe 58 is provided with a liquid distributor 59 arranged around the air inlet pipe 5 . An impeller 49 is connected to the air blades 18 and the cover ring 10 with the chamber 17 via the blades 8 . The edge 46 running around the impeller 49 is fastened to the ends of the vanes 8 , is conical and contains partial openings 47 in the lower area, which are covered with a filter 48 . The filter 48 consists of a tightly braided permeable, soft fabric hose, which is attached around the circumference of the impeller 49 and is filled with filter material. The openings 47 covered with the folder 48 prevent liquid 33 from remaining in the impeller or from entering the housing 1 unfiltered. Liquid that emerges from the filter 48 is thrown off and reaches the liquid collector 37, not shown, between the rib profile 40 of the housing 1 . After the chamber 17 has accelerated, the air with dust and pollutants and the atomized liquid 33 reach the rotating chamber 17 via the impeller 49 and the air blades 18 . There it is generated by a mechanical atomizer 100 ( FIG. 2) of the currents and turbulence and air and dust are additionally humidified, swirled so that the humidification of the dust is supplemented again. The air with the humidified dust and the pollutants get into the filter layer 61 which contains activated carbon, which binds the gaseous pollutants, then dust, air and solid pollutants get into the filter layer 62 made of a non-woven fabric, where the dust due to contact with the filter material is moistened again. After penetration of the layer 62 , moisture, the dust bound therein and the solid pollutants are separated from the cleaned air by centrifuging off the wall 16 of the rotating chamber 17 into the separating ribs 40 in the housing 1 . In Fig. 6 a particularly maintenance-friendly form of a filter for dust and pollutants shown in section. The air stream 6 to be cleaned enters the rotating chamber 17 , which is driven by the air 6 via an air wheel 9 and is single-walled. The wall 67 of the chamber 17 consists of metal balls which are sintered to form a stable but permeable body. To prevent dust from settling, the surface of the sintered particles, which can also have channels, is smooth. Centrally arranged in the chamber 17 is a feed line 68 for liquid with three rows of nozzles 69 offset by 120 degrees, through which liquid 33 is brought to the inside of the chamber. Due to the smooth surface of the particles from which the chamber wall 67 is composed and the centrifugal force which results from the rotation of the chamber 17 , the liquid is distributed over the entire particle surface of the chamber wall 67 . When the air 6 with the dust particles and moisture passes through the channels in and between the smooth particles of the chamber wall 67 , the air flow on the inner surface of the chamber wall 67 is deflected several times. Since the inertia of the dust and pollutant particles is deflected less than air from their trajectory, they hit the inner surface of the chamber wall 67 . There they are caught by the liquid 33 , which flows around the particles of the chamber wall 67 , so that the wetting of the dust is brought about. The channels in the comb wall 67 are flushed out by inflowing air 6 and liquid 33 . The liquid 33 and the dust bound therein are flung off from the outer surface of the rotating chamber wall 67 . It is received by the fins 40 arranged in the housing 1 and runs between the fins 40 of the housing 1 into the liquid collector 37 and further into the liquid drain 4 . A static filter 70 made of activated carbon for vapor and gaseous pollutants is provided at the air outlet 3 of the housing.
