Abstract

The vehicle is manually powered using flexible pull elements eg. wires, chains etc., looped over drove drums. The drums are coupled to a chain drive for the drive wheel(s) and are powered by reciprocating pedals or hand levers. The drive torque is even during each power stroke while the return action is via a small negative force.

Gegenüber des Tretkurbelantriebes ist der Weg der eingeleiteten Kraft individuell. Die eingeleitete Kraft kann beidseitig gleichzeitig eingeleitet werden. Eine variable Anbringung von F* ist möglich, dadurch kann auf eine Schaltung verzichtet werden. Die Sitzposition ist bei diesem Fahrzeug wesentlich angenehmer als beim normalem Fahrrad. Siehe

Die Patentansprüche sind dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, daß diese Kraft am Ende eines einseitig befestigten Gestänge angreift und durch Übersetzung des Hebelsystems die Kraft F* entsteht.
