From US 5 253 300 is a hearing aid with rechargeable Battery or with accumulator and known with solar cells. Here are visual indicators of the battery charge level seen.
Monitoring the functionality of hearing aids or of hearing aid batteries poses particularly in children and the elderly ren people a problem. The object of the invention is to create a hearing aid with a test facility is equipped for the state of charge of the voltage source, where simply by listening to the function test of the voltage source device wearer is to be carried out and the hearing aid wearer the test result is clearly signaled.
According to the invention, this object is achieved with a hearing aid of the type mentioned by a switching means for Akti four of a test circuit solved that the voltage at the Voltage source detected and with normal voltage applied electrical signal generated by the output converter in a Sound signal changes.
An advantageous method for checking the state of charge of the Power source of such a hearing aid device is distinguished characterized in that when you turn on the hearing aid Switching means can be actuated, whereby a test circuit is active is fourbar, the state of charge of the voltage source checking is bar, an electri cal signal can be generated and this signal via the Handset of the hearing aid is convertible into a sound signal.
In an advantageous embodiment, when the hearing aid is switched on fgerätes actuated another switching means simultaneously, so the hearing aid is initially in a battery test mode operated. If a normal battery voltage is present, the hearing aid wearer the correct state of charge of the battery yelled through a clear sound signal over the hearing aid receiver signals the device, e.g. B. by a continuous tone. Provides the Test circuit fixed battery voltage too low, so un Such a sound signal remains and the hearing aid wearer is causes to renew the voltage source or at one Recharge the battery.

Further advantages and details of the invention will become apparent following with reference to the embodiment shown in the drawing example explained in more detail. It is in the drawing a block diagram of a hearing aid according to the invention Darge poses.
The inventive hearing aid shown schematically in the drawing takes on a signal receiver 1 , for example a microphone or an induction coil, sound or electrical acoustic information. When the hearing aid is switched on, the switch 10 is closed, so that the electrical input signals are processed after a signal processing in an amplification and transmission part 2 , 2 'to a receiver 3 as an output transducer, the transducer emitting these signals as sound signals. In the exemplary embodiment, the on / off switch 10 of the hearing aid device is assigned a further switching means 6 , by means of which a device which checks the charging state of the voltage source 4 of the hearing aid device can be activated. The voltage source 4 can consist of a hearing aid battery or a rechargeable battery. In the drawing, a known circuit 5 for checking the battery voltage is connected to the battery poles. Furthermore, the device for checking the state of charge of the battery 4 comprises a logic circuit 8 'arranged downstream of the switch outputs 10 ' and 6 ', a test module 8 and a signal generator 9 . If the circuit of the test circuit is closed by closing the switching means 6 , the test module 8 is activated via the logic circuit 8 'and the voltage of the battery 4 is tested via the circuit 5 . If a predetermined normal voltage is present, the test module 8 activates the signal generator 9 . The signal generator 9 generates an electrical signal 7 which is fed to the receiver 3 . The listener converts this signal into a sound signal, e.g. B. a duration erton that the hearing aid wearer the proper charging to the voltage source 4 signals. If the battery voltage is below a predetermined value, the positive tone signal is omitted and the hearing aid wearer knows that the battery needs to be replaced or the battery charged.
If the switching means 6 z. B. opened by relieving a key switch, the logic circuit 8 'causes the hearing aid to switch to normal operation, ie the signal processing takes place from the microphone 1 via the amplifier and transmission unit 2 , 2 ' and the receiver 3 .
