Der in Fig. 1 und Fig. 2 dargestellte Einkaufswagen 1 weist ein mit Fahrrollen 4 aus gestattetes Fahrgestell 2 auf. Das Fahrgestell 2 besitzt einen aus Stahlrohr und/oder aus einem kräftigen Draht gefertigten Grundrahmen 3, der mit rückseitig nach oben und anschließend nach vorne gerichteten Stützen 5 ausgestattet ist. Die oberen Enden 6 der Stützen 5 tragen einen in der Regel konischen Korb 9, dessen Rückwand 23 gewöhn lich in das Korbinnere verschwenkbar ist, um derartige Einkaufswagen 1 platzsparend ineinanderschieben, also stapeln zu können. Am Fahrgestell 2 kann eine weitere den Korb 9 stützende Auflage 8, siehe Fig. 2, vorgesehen sein. Beim Korb 9 sind zumin dest die beiden Seitenwände 13 aus Kunststoff gefertigt. Bevorzugt können auch wei tere Teile des Korbes 9 oder sogar der komplette Korb 9 sowie die Rückwand 23 aus Kunststoff bestehen. Am hinteren oberen Ende 12 des Korbes 9 ist eine Schiebeein richtung 24 vorgesehen, die an den beiden Seitenwänden 13 befestigt ist. Die Seiten wände 13 sind als Gitterstruktur 14 gestaltet, wobei jede Seitenwand 13 einen hinteren Randbereich 15 aufweist, der verstärkt ausgebildet ist, das heißt, die Gitterstruktur 14 ist in sich elastischer ausgebildet als die hinteren Randbereiche 15.
