Abstract

The draw cord (20, 20') in the band body is longitudinally displaceable and - according to the folding formation required - (32, 33) and sectionally has freely running floating sections on the rear side (12) of the band body. Description

Die Erfindung richtet sich auf ein Gardinenband der im Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1 angegebenen Art. Das Gardinenband wird an der Stoffbahn einer Gardine od. dgl. vorzugsweise durch Nähen befestigt. Die im Bandkör per des Gardinenbands längsverlaufende Zugkordel erleichtert das Infaltenle gen der Gardine beträchtlich. Man erhält eine Faltenbildung, indem man die Zugkordel zieht. Dann faltet sich das Gardinenband und mit ihm die daran festgenähte Stoffbahn im Bereich der frei verlaufenden Flottierungsab schnitte (siehe z. B. Entsprechend dem gewünschten Faltenbild verläuft auf der Rückseite des Bandkörpers die Zugkordel mit ihren frei verlaufenden Flottierungsabschnitten. Der in Berührungskontakt mit der Band-Rückseite stehende Nähmaschinenfuß kann die Kordel in den Flottierungsabschnitten vor sich herschieben, so daß es beim Nähen zu unerwünschten Schlaufenbildungen der Zugkordel kommt. Solche Kordel schlaufen können so groß werden, daß sie in den Nähbereich des Nähmaschi nenfußes kommen und vom Nähfaden überfahren werden. Dazu wird eine Nähmaschine mit einem doppelten Nähfuß und mit zwei Nadeln verwendet. Der Nähmaschinenfuß gleitet beim Nähvorgang bei dem bekannten Band 10'' über die Zugkordel 20, 20', was zu den eingangs erwähnten Problemen führt. Dies ist beim erfin dungsgemäßen Gardinentragband 10 gemäß Fig. 3/3' bis 5 verhindert. Damit erhält man bei der Erfindung eine einfache Herstellung und ein gefälliges äußeres Aussehen des Bandes 10. Dies ergibt sich, weil, wie durch Strichelungen in Fig. 3/3' zu erkennen ist, sowohl die Flottierungsab schnitte 21 als auch die zur Aufnahme der Kanalabschnitte 22 dienenden in Fig. 2a/2a' noch erkennbaren Bandkanäle 13, 13' bei der Erfindung unsichtbar sind. Die große Taschenbreite 40 bei der Erfindung führt auch zu einer höheren Festigkeit und Tragfähigkeit der zur Aufhängung der Gardine herangezogenen Taschen 41. Das Infaltenlegen wird dadurch nicht beeinträchtigt; beim Ziehen der beiden Kordeln 20, 20' fahren die Flot tierungsabschnitte 21 aus den im Zusammenhang mit Fig. 5 beschriebenen Y-Öffnungen 28, 28' ohne weiteres heraus und gelangen in die aus Fig. 1 ersichtliche gestreckte Zuglage. Die Einzelfalten 34 spreizen sich, quer zur Gardinenebene, zu den bereits erwähnten Faltenbüscheln 32. In den dazwischen liegenden Kanalabschnitten 22 bleibt ein Streckzustand bestehen. Es entsteht der aus Fig. 1 erkennbare Streckabschnitt 33 des mit der Gardine 30 verbundenen Tragbandes 10.
